I started collecting Siege and WFC figures because of this Shockwave figure. I love playing with and posing Shockwave. I can't wait to get this version of the mold again. I would also like to pick up a Galactic Man figure in the near future.
How they managed to pull of such different vibes from each release is crazy. Comicswave has the perfect unhinged mad scientist camp, dcs wave is the loyal stoic 2nd hand of Megatron, while siege looks like he just climbed out of a trench and his pissed and ready to kill with his eyes
I got this today as well and didn't even take him out of the box yet (I'm in for all four comic boxes in this set, they make a single mural when combined). I have the Siege as well and he definitely has the play value so I think I'll wait for the correct color upgrade set for this guy to make him into the blaster mode. He used that mode in the comics anyway so it justifies the extra bit IMO. The bridge pack color is the best but sadly I passed on that, maybe later if I see that pack on sale. You might not have heard of this, but Comic Shockwave with the Siege gear reminds me of Jotaro Kujo from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, because of the light purple surrounded by a darker purple
