I know the focus here was skin. However the eye makeup in the thumbnail reeled me in hard. I was transfixed on it. So when I realized you did add the eye makeup steps in this video I was so happy. It suits you to a T, girl. You really understand your skintone and what compliments it best. I think im going to try it today!

Can I just say, you look amazing! I'm 32 and recently had a random outbreak after about a decade! My skin gets sooo dry and dehydrated and I've tried a lot of foundations/concealers. I found foundation just wouldn't cover and I'd end up layering and end up with a cakey mess. And concealer over my acne just looked horrific, so dry and cakey and yuck. What I found worked best was a very light weight skin tint layered underneath a dewy/hydrating fuller coverage foundation to 'spot conceal'. I loove the h20 pixi skin tint (not too oily, hydrating, and a skin like finish), and then the MUFE hd STICK foundation (beautiful fine pigment dewy deliciousness which layers amazingly well, even on my dry blotchy skin). I'll then set gently with a lightweight powder foundation if i still want a tad more coverage, something like the MSF from MAC, nyx hd no filter powder, nars ADLW powder foundation (using a big fluffy brush and a tap on method). Otherwise I'll set it with the the chanel loose powder, because it's forgiving on dry skin. Anything long wearing is a no go for me, it just makes me look cakey and draws more attention to the acne. My routine may not be the most long wearing, so i'll usually carry the lightweight powder foundation with me and buff it onto the skin with a big fluffy brush to 'blur'. I'm a very minimal makeup kinda gal and this routine makes me feel covered, but not cakey! xx
Thank you girl!! This was amazing! I totally agree with you; the super full coverage foundations don't work for me either because they end up looking thick if I try to do a whole face. Plus I think if the rest of your skin is healthy adding a lot of coverage can make it look not as healthy if that makes sense. But I will definitely try out your combo! Thank you for the suggestions! Also the Hourglass veil loose powder is amazing for dry/textured skin if you haven't tried!
