I read that his net worth is still far over 15mil US just from the Lion King and Home Improvement alone, so no doubt he's living comfortably, but without the nagging pressure of the paps and just generally being in the public eye .. I bet he's living a wonderful life and is very proud of everything he's accomplished in his past . Hats off to him !

+planetX15 The first video is 1995 from the Wrap-Up Party for the 100th Episode of "Home Improvement" The second video is 1995 at the Golden Globes and the last video is from 1999 at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards.
Why is JTT getting all the credit for playing young Simba when he shared the role with Jason Weaver who sang all the songs? He is no where to be found on press junkits for the movie.

I Just Can’t Wait To Be King & only a small part of Hakuna Matata which is not even two full songs
Jonathan as the speaking voice had a much bigger role in the movie & is known for having a unique voice
& also because by then he was already known before Lion King
while no one hardly even knows who Jason Weaver is, who never had their face plastered on EVERY teen magazine literally and on the walls of millions of girls bedroom walls & a lot more girls think Jonathan was way too cute for his own good
Although the one good thing is, is that Jason was able to make his singing voice sound very much like Jonathan’s speaking voice which was one of the reasons why they had Jason singing the songs
But because perhaps their voices sound so similar people may not have noticed it much & really you truly can’t
But for someone trying sing like someone’s speaking voice and sound so perfect that you can’t even notice, I think that should be a big credit towards him
Because very few people are able to sound like someone unless it’s maybe your identical twin
