@@DToneQuest I know this is an old ass comment, but it's based on Judas Priest who replaced Rob Halford with Tim Owens who was in a Judas Priest tribute band called British Steel before taking over as lead singer for two albums in the 90's and early 00's.
The record featured the song “We All Die Young,” later included as a re-recorded version in the movie Rock Star, with Milijenko Matijevic providing the singing voice for Mark Wahlberg’s character. The movie soundtrack was performed by Matijevic (and Jeff Scott Soto) on vocals along with Zakk Wylde (Ozzy Osbourne’s once-and-current guitarist), Jeff Pilson (Dokken, Foreigner), and Jason Bonham.

Ronald van Kemenade, I say you can blame the Minneapolis Music Scene. First you had Prince influencing and keeping funk alive and thriving, and Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, the two guys from Prince's project The Time, that he mentored, are one of the Top 3 most successful Music Producers of all-time, and then on the alternative side of things, bands like Husker Du, The Replacements, the Suburbs and Soul Asylum among others, something we called the "Garage Band Scene", was hugely influential and some say helped produce the "Grunge Scene", along with some more new wave kind of stuff. And Information Society also came out of Minnesota, and didn't have the same degree of influence as Prince or The Replacements, but contributed to the new Techno thing a bit. And I guess my point is, and I find this very sad, as I'm a huge heavy metal fan, very little heavy metal music came out of Minnesota during all that time, cept Slave Raider and I've heard the Christian band Messiah's Prophet as well? So you can blame Minnesota if you want, lol.
