In my opinion, people find you and subscribe because they are blown away and connect instantly because your music waters their wilting souls. After a bit of binge listening they become internally and spiritually healed from your music (frequencies). That would explain a lot mathematically, not to mention I am my own case study based on the parched life in my chest you hydrated with your glorious sound. Amen to you and Mandie. As a non-religious person (I don't deny existence of God or whatever you choose to call it, I just don't really like organized religion and its dogmas) I find it little hard to get over the wording towards the end. Still, your story of finding purpose in your life after hitting the rock bottom is very moving and relatable. Good for you!
