I took a fun quiz on what kind of personality am I compatible with romantically, and I got nurturers. I got The Defender personality for me personally.

If you are an ISFJ your perfect soul mate is an ENTJ

Also, he seems to be saying that ISFJ can be extremist in thinking. I don't think he's wrong. lol

Thank you! I am first year college student and I’m having hard time to choose a major. I’m interested in accounting, finance, medical and biology. What career would be better for ISFJ? Help please 🙂

MBTI is not enough to help select a career, you need more information about yourself. Go to www.livingmypurpose.com and purchase the complete career assessment system. It will give you lots of career tools and an accurate assessment of who you are and the things you will be good at. Hope this helps.

Something I enjoy, I find I'm not good at is programming. I love it. But it takes me forever to learn new stuff. Just my advice based on this observation, pick something that you're a quick study at and that fulfills your emotional needs.

With the general culture of prejudice that tends to linger around this theory, especially online, being a sensor is extremely unattractive to a person as an individual. Especially an SJ one.
You can thank David Keirsey and people's confirmation biases for that. People forget that it is about cognition not behaviour.
Incidentally Jung himself claimed his types were evenly distributed, type statistics are worthless.
    A disgruntled ISFJ.

I discovered the 4 base temperaments 46 years ago, that being
2 introverts the phlegmatic who internalizes an outward focus
The melancholy who internalizes an internal focus on mind and emotions
      2 extroverts
Choleric an external focus on the external world, always ready to react dynamically
The sanguine, sales person, life of the party an external expression based on an internal focus, similar to melancholy and the phlegmatic and choleric both have that external focus
PS, we all have some level of all 4 base temperaments.
After 46 years this system kept me excited and did not dissapoint.
I found much more accuracy here than in the Meyers Briggs system which is really an expansion on the 4 base temperaments I've described above and fully believe all personality study must use the 4 base temperaments in all of us as this is the lowest common denominator of our reality
It began with Tim LaHayes book, understanding the male temperament.
Applies to both yet the author pointed out because he is male so goes the title
God speed in your search for answers

at home, i'm an INFP, at work i'm an ISFJ, why is this the case?

  • @96raindrop96

i feel like this description is way off... isfjs have extroverted feeling so they're not this confrontational

Socionics conflictor giving them advice... :)
I would use lots of the same criticism for ISFP as my conflictor to be honest. It just comes out bit differently. ISFPs... those cold heated bastards if you ask me while the presenter seem them as opposite of that.

Possibly the tried and tested and quite cliche villain who believes they are doing things for someone for the best or...who is controlling of others in a small key way in order to irrationally keep control of their environment through their sensory database, (Si).
After all Jung's description of Si describes a person who collects their own personal, subjective, impressions from their perception, not some borish traditionalist. Trying to get others to conform to your perceptions is insanity.
