I totally agree with you. Off season is the best time to visit such places. You get rid of all the traffic, crowd and can explore the places very conveniently.
I recently did my chopta trip with trek to tungnath temple and chandrashila and it was just an amazing experience. The next stop was Tiryuginarayan temple and stay in GMVN guest house was an incredible experience. I was able to explore gauri kund too. Missed this place but adding it to my bucket list. You can really do a budget tour in off season. Advance congratulations for 3lakh subs.
