Oh yes, Cigar Lake, brings back lucrative memories! So in 2006 this mine truly fired up a uranium bull because while it was in construction it experienced a very significant groundwater breach, no one drowned thankfully, but it was feared Cigar Lake was doomed. Uranium, which was already on a tear, went parabolic in the near weeks after this flood, something like $40 to $140 a pound for uranium oxide in only mere weeks. I was in a .05 cent penny stock that had a large but low grade uranium deposit that was close to infrastructure, that stock went absolutely to the moon, cashed me up real good. It’s good to see some mainstream coverage slowly coming into the mining sector again.
I was underground that day. Although we lost the mine and had to let it flood we all got out safely and no one was injured. And with the ground freezing we are doing now the odds of another flood are pretty slim.
Some of these CNBC hosts just talk over their guests and refuse to listen to anybody. The reporter "Pippa" already stated she's wearing a dosimeter and then Joe asks about a "film thing" that measures radioactivity. She basically had to reply to him with what she already said 😔
This Joe guy is an idiot. Poppa on the other hand did great. She was nervous because she had never been in an underground mine before and she knew nothing about Radioactivity. But she overcame her initial fears and did a great job.
I've been investing in Bitcoin by myself. I'm not really happy with what's going on, just few weeks ago I lost about $7,000 in a particular trade. Can you help me out or at least advise me on what to do?
Since friendly Russia will stop selling uranium to the US next year,. And your neighbor, Canada who also has uranium and lots of it. Is going to be hit wit 25% tariff. However as tariffs work, the American companies will have to pay the 25% tariff. Just to remind the American people. We are the second largest country in the world with 40 million people and we can only consume so so many American products and that is why there is often a trade deficit. We love our neighbors to the south and our economies are important to the both us. I hope your new President thinks long and hard about his tariffs.
That sure is one good looking radiation dosimeter!!!! 😉 (My company makes them.) I spent some time up there working on the radiation safety systems. That was before global warming, when it was actually cold up there.
It’s still cold. So far this year it’s only gotten down to the mid -30s but come January we will likely get our annual week or 2 of -50C. For those who don’t know the Celsius scale that’s -58F. Come on up for a visit in January and you can throw a glass of water in the air and see it freeze before it hits the ground…
But Pippa explained some of the safety features in place. There are a lot more that would take a lot of typing to explain so let’s just say that all the radiation is monitored and kept at the lowest possible levels and no workers are exposed to anywhere near dangerous levels. Our mine has lower radiation levels than most underground parking lots.
Definitely a good time to get into Uranium. I'm also glad to hear that Peninsula Energy is about to restart its ISR operation in Wyoming in a matter of weeks.
No kidding. Pippa was great, a little nervous about being 480 Meters underground but once she was comfortable she handled everything very professionally.

Wow! Message me if you ever share tips!

Joe is in a worse mental state than Biden
A good Shut up and listen lesson.
Sometimes there is a long-ish delay in the comunication between the outgoing and response voice message. C'mon, we can forgive them for this !
That guy is dumb as hell

Great she had that adventure...once in a lifetime to see.
Pippa putting in work 💪 they got her in the trenches
This mine flooded early in its life. Now, the ore body and the surrounding sandstone are kept frozen to control water ingress.
Way to go Pippa!
Hit 200k today. I'm really grateful for all the knowledge and nuggets you had thrown my way over the last months. Started with 14k in August
How please...

I will advise you stop trading on your own if you keep losing. And i don't trade on my own anymore, I always required help and assistance
She's my family personal Broker and also a Broker to many families here in the United states, she is a licensed Broker.
😱Sounds familiar, I have heard her names on several occasions.. And both her success stories on wall street journey!
She's smart

Wonderful work Pippa! Did we secure enough uranium?
Agreed.
Rug on his head is too tight, you asked a question she answered before you asked.

I love how the host is clearly intent on highlighting the inherent danger of uranium mining and nuclear energy. We see where his bias lies.

A very good report
An extremely awkward anchor

Most of the discussion, mainly coming from the host, should have been done off camera. Personal thoughts from host not interesting for viewers.
That is too deep
It’s only 480 meters or 1575 feet. There are a lot of mines that are a lot deeper than that.
Oh no you got to pay for that. Tariff.
The guy sitting and talking is the classic normal person. Ignorant of uranium. We need better education.
Greattttt
This presenter is painful to listen to
Enjoy paying tarrifs on our minerals
