    Thanks for the honest video, I think I’m going to hang on the sidelines & wait for a ver2.0 360. It’s got a ton of moving parts which I think does not bode well for the long term future . All fine and dandy while it’s still under warranty.

      So far so good. The front kick up fin is really sensitive now but that’s not just with 360. Almost 2 years but I’ll do a review in a couple months probably but I am going to warranty the kick up fin issue and see what happens.

    Thanks for the vid. I love my hobie 360 but that clicking sound is annoying. I will make your adjustments. Thanks again. This yak is legit having logged over 100s of hours in it the last five months!

      Jason Simon I probably put another 100 hours on mine after the adjustments with no noises. My main issue was the fins not going back into place after they would kick up from hitting bottom. Mine were just really tight from being new and all but after I manually put them in place and kicked them out a bunch of times they now seat just fine when I go back to normal pedaling

    thank you. I have one on order so this was really good stuff to view. Stuff happens so having some idea of what some of that stuff might be is a good thing!

      Sean Solo 904 Fishing Sorry for such a late reply. I think you will be happy with it. Very convenient platform for almost anything you want to do maneuverability wise.

    Glad they were able to help you on the spot, and you shared this info. Watched a lot of videos before picking one (14') up and saw no issues.
    Have not put mine in water yet, so now I'll know if any issues, especially if on the water they arise.
    How's yours handle against strong incoming or out going currents or tides? Does it cut through it well or pretty tough and slow going?
    Thanks for posting the issues and fixes.

      So far so good with the currents, the only thing I have noticed in comparison to my outback is wind slows me down a little bit more.

    You said 3 full turns on the stem clutch bolt? I was told 1.5. Just trying to get the correct info. Thank you!

    • @MudDuckFishing
      @MudDuckFishing  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I guess that would depend. Mine hasn’t messed up at all since the video. Start at 1.5 to see how that works for you. May be some differences depending.

    glad they take care of u , but for 5k kayak you should have to deal with this in my opinion

      75% of it was my fault but I do agree with you

      With anything, no matter how much you spend, there will always be a chance for something that will need to be adjusted....just saying

    • @xeroblastx

      Thats an incorrect way of thinking… Anything expensive needs more attention… if that was the case then no worthy boat would ever need attention at all… You arent paying more to manage less… Nothing expensive fits that logic…

      No shit! I think Hobie makes flimsy trash...my advice is don’t buy one because you will regret it ❤.

    Great video, you mentioned that the screw located in the rear of the well was a clutch adjustment, what type of clutch. I have a 360 and just watched your video. It peaked my curiosity.

    • @MudDuckFishing
      @MudDuckFishing  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m not 100% but I do know that he said it should be loosened 3 full turns from snug. The front screw is for tension on spinning the drive.

    Really appreciate the video man! This fixed a lot of my issues. This might be universal on all 360 but it seems like my 360 handle is quite tough to turn my whole 360 drive, do you have that issue as well?

    • @MudDuckFishing
      @MudDuckFishing  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mine was kinda stiff for about of a week or so of use. Either I got used to it or it freed up a little after being broke in I guess you could say

    Wait till the belt breaks and the drive bearings fall out… lol. Sold my 360.

      Well I hope that doesn’t happen. Did they replace yours under warranty.
