- Our first guest today stars as a "Wunderkind Neurosurgeon" on the hit show "Private Practice". The only problem is, Caterina Scorsone's character "Amelia Shepherd" is also an addict and in desperate need of an intervention.

I was first introduced to Amelia on Grey's Anatomy, and the character intrigued me and I wanted to know her backstory, so I watched Private Practice and I really really loved her there (and she's been great on GA, too!) I think Caterina is a wonderful actress! 💖

Rawr! 0:03 it's not "wonder kind," pronouncing ''kind'' as in "I am 'kind' to others! It's "wunderkind" which is German and means "wonder-child" (prodigy) and you say "kind" like you're saying the beginning of the word "kindergarten" (I'm not even going to get into the pronounciation of "wunder", lol).
Canadian was she not at the time?
