  • Welcome to the latest MoDXtra: Games & Collectibles action figure review. In this instalment we're taking a look at the NECA Toys Warduke figure from the Dungeons & Dragons Line.
That's right - it's time to get a bit of a sword & sorcery fantasy vibe on the channel here, with an action figure that brings a D&D flair to the action figure shelf.
This review will involve a brief unboxing of Warduke, an overall view of the figure and , and then some detailed thoughts around his aesthetic, articulation, and accessories. (My action figure review Triple A's LOL)

That figure is beautiful. This was the first review I’ve watched and I’m blown away by the level of tiny details scattered around him. You’ve done a stellar job digging into this guy Chris.

The detail is REALLY good. Mind-blowingly so, I'm very impressed. The sculpt alone is top-notch. Thanks for the kind words on the review too Conor - I always appreciate your continued support of the channel. :)

Another cool figure! I used to love watching the TV show back in the day, so it makes purchasing this guy VERY tempting!

He's awesome - a very enjoyable purchase. I've got him right next to me here on the desk - Warduke has just watched over the whole MoD DM unboxing take place!

Great review, Chris. I was so excited when I saw this revealed. Still have mine from the 80s. I’m just worried about the fragile plastic that Neca uses. I might just have to bite the bullet though

Thanks Angus. There's no avoiding it - the Neca stuff is brittle! And, as you've seen from the review, not so great at gluing stuff either LOL
Still... the nostalgia factor is hella strong with this guy, and i've been enjoying the figure a great deal.

This figure is terrific but would of been epic with a fur loincloth like the black series gamorrean guard.

That’s a cool idea. Add even more texture to it - I like it.

NECA with their beautifully sculpted, articulatedly limited figures strike again. Warduke and Grimsword both look amazing and they're a difficult pass for me, because of my love of D&D, but they already got their hooks in me with one of their Predators. They're gorgeous figures, but I keep finding myself really wanting more poseability out of them, especially when it comes to Predators.

For sure - the articulation is a problem and I have found it limiting. He's just a little... rigid feeling, I can't get him quite fluid and natural looking with his sword & shield. Does look freakin' awesome though, so I've reconciled myself with the limitations because he's just so pretty!
