The way Reggie just talks and talks about the car without being asked much goes to show how much he loves it! Awesome build too, i like how honest he was about not bolting on the most expensive or fanciest stuff bolted to it, just built exactly how he imagined it! Gotta love guys like him!
A truly personal build by a master. The engine deserves some dyno time - I think the car has all the power you could want and a beautiful , tasteful restoration brought into the 21st century.
I like it! My girl friend had a white 64 Fairlane with a 289. It had less than 20,000 miles on it when an idiot friend of ours went through a stop sign at more than 70 mph. We got t-boned by a 67 Nova SS that was built. The kid was doing almost 80 when he hit us. He probably saved our lives. There was a cottonwood tree right across the intersection that we would have clobbered if he hadn't hit us. I put my head through the left rear quarter glass. My brother was riding shotgun and Jodie was in the middle. Nobody else was hurt; not even the guy and his brother in the Nova. It knocked the body on the Fairlane about two feet off the rear springs. The Nova did 360s all the way done the road in the ditch and went through a fence. I got a free ride in 1959 Cadillac ambulance to the same hospital where my girlfriend worked. Her mother was the charge nurse that day. Somebody should've taken the meathead moron who drove through that stop sign and drowned him when he was born. I got stitched up but picked glass out of my head for years.
Spectacular build all the way around. When you're passionate about something, and put the efforts, the results are always fascinating. Awesome story and video work guys!
Sure we all have a few regrets one of mine was getting rid of my 64 fairlane sportscoupe lil 260. Always wanted a thunderbolt clone of course. Maybe later. Thanks for sharing that awesome ride.
currently doing metal work and fab on my 64 Fairlane. I will also be building a 347, that is an awesome build. Might run into each other at a cruise one day I'm also in Georgia
Love it, inspired to get off my butt and start wrenching on my 65 mercury comet Caliente. She's taking a back seat to life for the last 13 years, times awaiting
I love this car! Very nice build and the engine sound is awesome. As for the front tire size just look at the tire, it is usually displayed on the sidewall. You have nerves of steel to sit in the car so calmly, while the car is getting sideways!
Reggie-beautiful car-I have one that I’m finishing. We went with a 351W and a 8.8 donated from a Explorer. So I’m lucky to have 3.73, 31 spline limited slip. That also allowed me to have 4 wheel disc brakes. Definitely a labor of love. I have one question: on the stainless side trim is it polished out or do I see black in the middle of the trim? Camera glares made it hard to tell. Again fantastic car.
Really nice car, nice build. I just have never understood if your going to build up a small block ford stay away from any 302 and just go with the 351w block, you can find the later ones that also used hydraulic-roller camshafts as well. Oh well just my 2 cents, regardless again a really sweet ride.
Super cool car, and I love Fords, but 500hp is BS, those engines can handle 500hp, but they'll never see 500 without a turbo of something, "a honest 500hp",😄, PROVE IT!
THANX MAN 4-Yo Bless ME Vide-O’z😎 & Thiz iz #1 uf My FLAVOR🤍RITE’z !!! Kool Guy & Car 👁️ L💘VE IT !! X’cept I wud hav Rather had a SEX🕹️🦾 SPEED !! Butt IT’z a H❤️🔥ROD 🏁🎲🏆🎲🎖️🥇🥈
Here is a REAL driver! OH YEAH!
Whew! That was fun to watch! I'm 73 and I've had fast cars, bikes, and boats. Hot rodding never gets old!
67 years young and I whole heartedly agree.
Thats right!

Love this I got my uncles 64 sport coupe who passed away. Been my dream car from when I was 10 yrs old
I love seeing the 260 emblems still on it with that nasty sounding motor in it. All class!
Just seen one that looked like this in Har and illinois. Never heard of a Ford Fairlane, now I have a new dream car.
That is a beautiful car, absolutely perfect.

Super-Trick Car. He did a super job on making it his own. What's not to like? Simply a killer combination that works well together. High Fives Reggie

Love it, inspired to get off my butt and start wrenching on my 65 mercury comet Caliente. She's taking a back seat to life for the last 13 years, times awaiting

My father had a 1964 fairlane 500 sport coupe. Hipo 289 4 spd with 410 rear end, the stories he had to tell. They are beautiful cars.
PERFECT !
I’m from North Georgia too. Never see 64 Fairlanes running around here.

When I get my money's 2gether ima call yall up and ask yall to build me one just like this but with a big block okay?
I hate to say this, but htat build is 425-450 max.

Ummm, are you sure th-cam.com/video/jCqXqHbeUcM/w-d-xo.html
It's not a Chevy, I'm sure it makes well over 500 hp. Hell there's video's of 331 strokers making well over 500 hp.. just saying.
That motor will make 500 .
Nice car but no way its pushing 500 hp, id say 300 on a good day.
Sounds like you are a human dyno.
@@frankbranstrom5048 nope just know enough to know
He's right everyone can get a Mustang or an Impala but 63-64 Fairlane or Galaxie is definitely a rare breed of muscle car men!
After watching video... bro roll over to my pad we can talk ford muscle. Piont me in the correct direction for my Galaxie finished properly!
REE-stored.
