Hi Sarah, you really can see the quality of these pieces; I haven't found any ornaments; I did pick up a Santa tea pot which sold already; I will definitely have my radar on for Radco products in the future. have a great day.
I have been very lucky, I think it helps that I’ve made a point of really looking at the holiday stuff at sales nowadays, before this year I think I only found one or two radko pieces!
Awesome video on Radko, I had no idea about all the different types! I bought them back in the 80s and 90s when my kids were growing up. I've sold off most of them in the past two years, but I still have a few in my Christmas box, and I have one listed right now in my store. Guess I should make sure that its priced right! I sold a Radko a year ago that was broken, had a hole in it, with the pieces. Someone still purchased it for I think about $100!! Oh my gosh my parents had Shiny Brite, boxes of them I remember from my childhood. I still have two small boxes of them but the box itself is pretty well shot! Ive seen them in antique stores for $50-$75 a box! haha my parents probably paid $1 for a box of them.
That’s amazing about the broken one, I actually just sold one yesterday for $250 that had paint loss on it, my mind was blown by that! I know my grandparents hat some shiny brite I’ve only ever seen them once in the wild in another resellers hands so maybe someday!
I have a Christmas tree brooch that I can not find another like it to get a idea of the value. It is a green tree with round gems of different color as bulbs a bigger white gem for the star on top on bottom is 2 wrapped gifts, a teddy bear, a tiny soldier, a rocking horse that dangle across the bottom. The only ones I find have 3 items on the bottom. Do you have any info on it
Beautiful, most of my collection of radkos are from swap meets. Sellers have no idea how much they are worth.. I've collected over 700 pieces in the last 10yrs
Thank You!
