Hi! Did you find a mini guitar fretboard? love the design, but struggling to find a the fretboard. How long was the one used on this setup?

Thanks for your question. I bought mine (fret board) from Ebay and I don't see that any more. However, you can buy the 25.5" scale fret board (with frets- from Ebay) and trim that to the length you want. You can refer to this video on how I cut mine. th-cam.com/video/KwTTukqewEA/w-d-xo.html This can give you wider nut width and will be more playable than the headless one I built. Please let me know if you have other questions.

You are a clever clever man. Well Done Sir! I have been watching a lot of DIY guitar modding videos on TH-cam. Yours made my day. Very well done. I loved it :)

Thanks for the kind words. I later found out if I do a standard tuning on the guitar, the tone is much more accurate. In the video, I tuned the guitar like an ukulele, which is higher and tuning is off. Cheers!😄

Really nice. If you allows you to play on the go, then it’s great. I like the pick up addition.

I was thinking the same about the nylon rollers. Have you determined the "best" diameter to use? Do you have a link to the size you have in the video? Thanks!

I used similar roller as this one, excerpt the one I have is 25 mm in diameter www.ebay.com/itm/154189138819?hash=item23e6638b83:g:w~oAAOSwpqpiSDyR I bought that two years ago and it was around $8 (for four). Since the guitar/ukulele strings are so thin, even the smaller diameter wheel will provide sufficient bending radius for the strings (will not damage the strings). As for the optimal size, it really depends on how the guitar/ukulele is constructed. A large diameter wheel will determine the thickness (and length) of the instrument. The larger wheel usually cost more. I would say the 25 mm diameter wheel is a good choice for me. Have fun building your! Cheers!
