People who don't have the money to buy Wellesley houses should not be looking in Wellesley. It has been that way forever. There are plenty of other towns to live in. High house prices are actually a pro.
They are tearing down lovely houses built in the 40s and 50s and building architectural montrosities. That is a con. So are property taxes of $40,000 to $50,000 for a house in the Cliff Estates.
