The fact that this is a rock and roll cover of a song about troubled and delusional youth with homicidal urges, that’s trying so hard to be cool is too perfect.
Because that’s Peacemaker’s entire character to a T.
Heard it before the series started and just I assumed it would be the intro music because it's perfect for The Suicide Squad version of Peacemaker. Plus, it's a tune he'd think was a banger and the lyrics would go over his head.
Also works just as well for Vigilante, having seen half the series now. Weirdly enough, I think Vigilante is more like Peacemaker from the film than Peacemaker in the series.

This COVER is INSANE
This is easily one of my favorite songs from the soundtrack. This and the Fight Song.
It's amazing. Everything Ralph/Michael is singing sounds awesome and better then the original.

Not "everything". While the Steel Panther version of Don't stop believing is great, the original still sounds better.
Same could be said of "She's tight". Great version, but Cheap Tricks original is better.
