What's really beautiful about this conversation is the synergy between what superficially one would think are two diametrically opposed images of masculinity. As teenagers, it's not hard to image that boys emboding similar traits of these two gentlemen would think they have nothing in common, but as they hit their fifth decade on this planet and, having grown more comfortable in each of their own skins, find out they share more than they would've ever thought back then when the world was more of a black and white binary instead of shades of grey.
