Yeah I don’t think it mattered, since he could’ve just cast Transmute Artifact instead of isochron scepter, although he would’ve needed a couple of extra mana to do that, so maybe it wouldn’t have worked? I don’t have the exact count of his mana, but you’re definitely right
@@Crona975it wouldn’t change, he paid for the activation with blue mana from Cage, that plus tapping Scepter to activate is the same mana as casting Transmute from hand instead
It would appear that it didn't matter in this instance, but with urza and the basalt monolith combo you can also make infinite blue mana, not just colorless.
Glarb is such a weird and cool Commander. Not sure if he’s gonna hang in cEDH or remain sort of niche usage, but I was definitely inspired to build a version of him from this show.
Speaking of Grafdiggers cage, I'd love to see a p2w podcast on a breakdown of the top cedh meta decks vs the top stax pieces based off how many important lines get shut off. But keep doing what you guys are doing, it's the best
After the imprint mistake, the stick was activated without the mana cost being paid which wouldn't have left enough behind to enter the basalt loop. Not that any of that actually matters. Appreciate y'all not editing mistakes out. It benefits the community and I respect the integrity and class you've got
Gadgeteer goes hard on this list. Curious of the Harbinger of the Seas over back to basics. I think shutting down nonbasics is more powerful over turning them into islands.

since caverns can't produce the colored mana because it doesn't have a counter stone only seeing caverns being able to make colorless mana and does not tap for colored mana

Not to mention, Imprinting is a May ability. Or at least on Isochron Scepter it is.
@ correct, if he just declined to imprint and cast from hand tapping Cage/Scepter the result is the same

Ohhh i didnt even think about that, infinite colorless then use to make infinite blue tapping to urza
Dylan’s “I’m listening, make lots of eyebrow movement and stuff” face always makes me laugh in the intros
Always a pleasure for me as well haha!
isochron scepter only imprrint instant.. not sorcery.. transmute artifact is a sorcery
yeah, thats the point in "it doesnt matter"
I have so much respect for Dylan still Glarbin it up.

lol you guys playing cedh and then just feeding the fish until they explode
Mindbreak trap was active on cams win, isochron scepter says you may cast the copy
But so it was Isochron and the copy, no? Basalt was not cast, just put into play.
The copy under isochron would've been countered, buying a turn
welcome Cyrus and Hannah. love seeing some new blood on the show and both of their voices/demeanor were refreshing

Hannah casually discarding cards that win the game
Yeah
8:15 You can't put transmute artifact under Isochron Scepter as it only works with instants.
Couldn't tell since there was a cut right around here but mindbreak trap only hits spells, you'd still draw 2 off the ring activation.

Yes more content on *HIS MOISTNESS*!
You would not believe how fast I clicked the video when I saw glarb
Yooooo Cyrus!!!! So cool when some of my favorite content creators play together!!! Thanks for another awesome one.
i loooove gadgeteer in urza, definetly his best card printed this year
Straight faced staring contest with Dylan 😮 Bro needs eyes, brow, and lip wrangler 😂 GGs

How viable do you think Arcum Daggson is in the cEDH meta now?
Dylan love the playmat. My buddy just got me those sleeves for Xmas. Put them right on my atraxa deck
Never heard of Phyrexian Hannah before, but anyone that looks even remotely metal in the Mtg sphere will perk my interest. So i googled her. Whoops 🙈
Same here lol
Intro Dylan has such an emotive face and it’s great. Ha book you got complimented. Got em

Love it when cam plays Urza
Are you guys going to magicon
omfg the ending of this video had me dying
Hey I know them guests!!!🎉🎉🎉
Makes sense as dockside is a punishment card.
Could you standardize player placement? Dylan is normal top left, and Cam is normally top right, idk why but it messes up my brain lol
Who's gonna tell Hannah? :D Breeding pool tapped T1 was diabolical.. Not mentioning tutoring in your own round.. ts ts ts

Thinking about blue farm colors stranger things commanders turbo nays shell thoughts?
Im on this but no turbo. And its nice
You cannot cast ballista for infinite just 0 (with urza) and will
die in state based action
Morning fellas! ❤❤❤
Crazy ending 🤯🤯🤯
I know when the guitars start smacking something is happening
I'm loving the San proxy for Kinnan. Anybody who loves Mononoke Hime automatically gets my respect.
😊
This game is so cursed 😂, poor sequencing and the isochron thing could have mattered depending on the interaction
So criminal to not have Tivit on this episode
Play to Win OF when? 👀
Glarb is great :D but it looks like you play too many lands lol
Neh CROP uh tence
Please make bill the pony CEDH
