cool to see you worked in Rochester in the day, I'm 30 mins outside of the city . I wish I grew up in a different era its hard to find someone willing to take the time to teach you how and make you understand why. Most artists around the area don't have any good information or know how. more or less plug and play boys around here. I'm really into the history as well as anything else I can learn about this craft. maybe one day ill find the right teacher

how the hell could tattoos be illegal?
+Ozterkvlt It was outlawed in the US for a decent amount of time. I think starting in the 50's. SC and OK were the last states to legalize it, both in the 00's. Pretty recently.
There's a great documentary called The Sitdown with a bunch of old school tattooers from NY and they talk a lot about it.
