I had played duantless since the beta, The blaze eletric and umbral esca was a perfect example on how an escalation has to be. I played it one time hours ago cuz the map was kinda bad (same as paradox brakes) amps were decent the new behemoth design is so great but moves (rage and aether is so bad) The only thing that made this esca mid was the memories and the wait, nothing else.
I certainly had a blast with this esca! Sorta sucks that the master class passive is dependent on what your teammates wield (not to mention how many still complain about chronovore wings yet refuse to use repeaters to provide that extra part damage via master class for the team or use sharpened) I've personally seen quite a few times where chronovore simply folds his wings in a way they essentially clip inside his body and simply can't be hit by anything (tempest at that point was hitting the aetheroplasm on his gut instead) and I could see arguments for expanding the range of home field advantage (or at least making the banner plant animation faster), the times you would want the bonus, like a stagger or shock proc, the behemoth is getting up by the time you actually put your banner down. Makes it feel like a waste for anything that isn't repeaters since they can plant and just let everything come to them at their banner Edit: and I can only hope they limit the immortal suppressor to round 1 and 3 for heroic. I get tired of people using pangar lanterns with that round modifier and making it impossible to repair the pillar, and I see quite a few people breaking the suppressors immediately regardless of team comp or behemoths. Part suppressor sucks on sahvyt and smaller behemoths, most weapons will hit those crystals every time; and why break the wound suppressor if their isn't pikes or chainblades in the team, you just make the team take more damage at that point for no reason
People love to complain without actually doing anything about it. The problem of todays tutorials: teach you how to play, but not how to use your brain in the game. Most of the game is very easy, so when you suddenly struggle you do not easily think you are the problem, and instead blame it on the game being bad/buggy. A personal rule I have, treat online games as if you are the one that has to carry the team. You have to put in the effort, not the others around you. I remember so many when the game first got officially released would just stand nearby and get xp instead of joining fights. Had a lot of fun camping with them when other players allowed it. At least these guys are playing, just not thinking about what more they can do.
@@bok4822 its a good mentality to have to a point. So long as that 'i gotta do all the work/carry the team' attitude doesn't turn caustic and you can still give positive advice to those willing to listen. I enjoy going out of my way to find out ways to break a game within limits (im not a real glitch/exploit hunter) I just enjoy thinking outside the box on how do I make this system work for me?
@@craigfunk3453 Oh yeah definitely. In normal hunts I never feel like I actually carry the team, although I do notice how I sometimes do a lot more damage than others. And I do both try to do well while not tryharding so that it is all fun for me as well, as I get bored from only doing everything perfectly. What I do get tired of (when it happens) is people actually not even trying, they just walk into the behemoth and die. Or they go into normal escalations at lowest weapon level without any powersurged gear whatsoever. I can understand wanting to try different parts of the game, but going on public hunts without any prior preparation when you should have enough experience to at least know to equip some potions and maybe defensive skills is just ruining the fun for everyone else because you are willfully being ignorant of the games background systems. 95% of the time now the game and players are good though, so I enjoy public hunts a lot more.
Tell the developers that they forgot to add the level requirement(14+) to join the 10-50 escalation for radiant its the only one that does not have it.
Played dauntless since hidden blade battle pass 3 years of gameplay and still have nobody to play with everything I do in dauntless is solo I wish if I had more fun like you are and your friends
Saddest part about all of this is that it seems the chronovore's Temporal Mastication attack is now impossible to survive, unlike before. Its also not mentioned in any patch changes, but alas. I guess there finally is a grab attack in the game I won't be able to survive.

@@ronanlorekeeper7226 I tried using bulwark tonics in its place. Pretty sure the only reason you survive it is because it doesnt let you die in the first place thanks to the +6 cell effect
Everyone saying (Insert Element) Esca is easy, but I always get shit on by Phalaenx + Shrowd/Riftstalker/Stormclaw/Thunderdeep Drask/Alyra/Flameborn Reza/Rezakiri, these combinations are so annoying that if there was a scoreboard their Assist Scores would go through the roof, I finally stagger a behemoth, one comes charging or shoots me with some beam at mach 10, I try to stagger a behemoth one of them sneaks up slaps me in the face then I get blasted, try to dodge thru one of their attacks get slapped by another cuz I can't dodge again in time
No...no way. WHY DID THEY CHANGE THE OPENING ANIMATION THING?! It was one of the most epic opening whatevers (idk what it's actually called, as you can see lmao) I've seen. Now it just fades in and out?! Bruh my disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined. 😔
Because they're adapting to mult-consoles, some consoles such as the Nintendo Switch were having issues loading the entire animation and would sometimes cause the game to crash. They constantly run into issues like that, so they simplified the logo and the opening animation to reduce the stress of loading.
My esca is already level 25 now I just gotta wait 2 weeks till I can kill heroic esca chrono an get the last two crowns, then not touch this game again till another season pass or big update

You can survive with damage negate skills, I did with Nine Lives.
