Thanks for sharing. I'm a single female living in Denver! It has changed so much and it's getting harder to just get by. Will be visiting Roaton for the first time. Looking for some peace.
I'm thinking about moving to Roatan. I have plenty of experience (more than 10 years total) living overseas with 3 years in Canary Islands, 7 months in Colombia and 2 years in Peru to name a few (Ireland, Senegal, Congo, Angola, Equatorial Guinea, Iran and Trinidad). I think it would be very easy for me to adjust since I'm also fluent in Spanish. I would love to go diving regularly, relax on the beach. Wake up, go to the cafe down the street and have my morning coffee looking out over the sea. Delicious seafood for lunch and relaxing in the sunset. Not too concerned with crime, as you say, you learn to be street smart, don't tempt them. Am I dreaming???
I know. Roatan is safe place to live I just want to buy another piece of land now that I’m here do you know a good lawyer there to do the paperwork? The man that sold me the land he hired the lawyer to do the paperwork I hired one just verify the didn’t have any issues like the ones you mentioned in a previous video
Yeah. Gated community, private school…that house appears to be over $1M. If you have those resources you’ll be good just about anywhere. If you do not your mileage may very.
Are you available to assist with providing listings and places to live? We want something small and in a community so we don't feel like we are on an island alone so to speak.
The quick guide. I am more than happy to answer any specific questions too, thanks for watching!

It sounds like a great dream that you can make a reality. Speaking Spanish will really help too.
Have you done a video on food cost? Transportation on the island?
Great idea. I have only done shorts on those two topics, love the full video idea. Thank you!

True, being rich does help…however, I am at a restaurant filming. Wish that were my house.

We have a fiber line in roatan as well as Starlink is now available.
I use Starlink now. Works really well.
@@cliffwilliams9571 I switched to Starlink in December, it is half the price and works great.

How long have you been in Roatan?
On and off since 2009. Thanks for watching!!
Should i change my dollars to lempria before i come
No need, all places take USD. Make sure they are clean bills, no rips or tears, those aren’t accepted.
@@LaurenHughesRealtorandInvestor ok so you don't recommend bringing lempria instead of lempria
Can you help finding an apartment or house to rent ? I'd like to come in Sept for longer term.. I am in Mexico since 2 years now. Canadian.
