Elastomeric paint ?
What is the purpose of the threaded rod? Are there buts on both ends and you're squeezing together? Nuts at each rib to hold the rib in place? Or just laying in that track as you've shown and somehow that help?
The threaded rod runs the length of the camper. This allows forces from one end to be transferred to the other. The outside skin does the same thing of course. The threaded rods are nice when assembling the frame.
Flex seal will peel off
