Mister Drone Family Trip to Northern Ireland (Part 1). Boarding the ferry by car & checking it out!

- Here is part 1 of our family trip to Northern Ireland.
We are heading to Ballycastle to meet up with family for a long weekend.
We have decided to travel by boat this time so we could take the car. Its an 8 hour trip but we thought we'd give it a go. We were impressed and would recommend it.
Here is the first video showing our journey there, boarding the boat by car and having a good look round.

Ha ha ha! Darcey is a bundle of fun and energy. Reminds me of when my 3 girls were that age and we took them across to Ireland (my youngest hits 40 this year so that tells you how long ago it was.). Everything's an adventure to kids at that age. You've got a lovely wife and family. Stay safe. Stay happy. I wish you every good fortune and a great holiday. Bless you all.

Been on many a ferry in the last thirty years but never to belfast, a massive thousand welcomes to you and your family from a beautiful co Sligo which has been my home for the last 25 years, seeing both sides of the mersey brings back a warm feeling and growing up but not a stones throw away from the stenna line terminal.
Such a lovely family, Hope yous had a nice trip Ireland, Come visit again

What a lovely family you have. What a really cool adventure for them to ride on the ferry, and hope you all had a great time. Is that the brand new Stena ferry, the Stena Edda? Really does look in great shape. I was half expecting to see pictures of the family taken from the drone as it flew along behind the ship.....you missed an opportunity there! 🤣😂😉

I was on that 2 weeks ago..toured Donegal,Tyrone,Monehan and the Mountains of Mourne on my Motorbike..I've been on it a few years back to Antrim,Londonderry also on my bike..absolutely stunning place,we went to Ballycastle aswel..lovely little town.
Get to Castlerock too when there,was there with the family lovely spot ,,, you'll have get to the Mourne Mountains the next time your over and Carlingford Lough i'm lucky to live in the place , just amazing ... enjoy your trip
You'll have an amazing time, there is so much to do around Ballycastle for the kids too.
Was there a few weeks back and the weather this week will be in the mid 20's

You’ll enjoy ballycastle, brilliant beach great scenery, try a mauds ice cream and you’ll love it,the cabin you booked is so superior to the 4 berth cabins

I’m from the Wirral too but now live in North County Dublin and after many years of here I can tell you the whole island of Ireland is stunning, once you escape from any of the cities you have beautiful places to rival anywhere in the world, it’s amazing. Btw I think the Wirral is stunning too as you’ve shown on your videos….
I get back for the footie every so often and got my derby tickets on Monday so will be seeing the new ground too on the 3rd September COYBS

Was on the boat three days ago. Going miss this weeks Bramley update. Have a great holiday try and visit Cushendall and Cushendun.
I suspect a lot of those NI registered cars were coming back from a GB MOT test, very long waiting time for an NI MOT test

Do you have to check your luggage in or do you just leave it in your car
No you don’t have to check it and you can take it from your car too if you like
