Big improvement. Because you're only replacing the end can you keep the cat and so it's not much noisier than stock, it's just a much nicer sound. If you did a full system replacement (as you have to do on the 650 because the stock exhaust on it is one big lump) it actually gets quite a lot louder too.
I really appreciate all the 1050 DE content! I like all the other bikes in the category with ours, but it seems to me that they steal all the limelight from a really good machine.
Tom. Bit off topic on the vstrom but I've a question over my mt01, I hope you can help. I've put bar ends on mine as the original mirrors give. A lovely view of my elbows but when I fitted and went to remove the mirrors, found they were 15mm blooming left hand thread. Now they hold the brackets for the brake and clutch reservoirs so I'm wondering how you sourced the bolts and removed the mirror brackets cos they look crap.
@@tomstc ta bud. I'll get she who must be obeyed to order me some now. ( Ive been banned from ebay, and amazon cos I keep buying useless crap...... Oh and boot sales cos the amount of rubbish which I think useful I can get when allowed a fiver.) cheers again bud
@slipngrip erm? Good question, the FUEL Exhausts are genuinely made by hand in the UK. The business is owned by a lovely couple who are passionate about what they do! Black widow make good stuff, i had their headers on my GSX1400. Well made stuff easy ish to fit. At the end of the day it's personal taste, if you do go FUEL mention TOMSTC. CHEERS
Much better than the bread box 🫡Fuel cans always seem louder. When is you MOT? 😅 I'm uploading a 2 min rev sesh off mine from today coincidently. Nowhere as lound or as polished as this though 🤣

I remember my Carbon Can Co. exhaust on my Bandit 6S ... Great sound and very lightweight.

A much nicer tone and not too hard to do either.

Not really impressed with the look and sound over the OEM exhaust.
