I have a theory, I don't know if this would make sense but I want to share it :). I think Jin might have spoken prior to the episode with JK and decided not to be in the same team (perhaps because they know that they can`t keep the hands off each other when they are close) and JK, who always wants to be near Jin, might have lost all the interest in the game even before the episode started...

Based on their hair color and hair cut in, I think Run BTS Eps 148-149 were shot before Run BTS Eps 145-147 (Joseon Dynasty) and shot after or before Run BTS Ep 144 (BTS Gayo) so my take on this is that Jin & JK are now really okay based on their reactions and interactions during Run BTS Eps 145-147 (Joseon Dynasty).

I agree with you. It looks like they are under close surveillance which ends up JK trying as hard as he could not to touch Jin. If we observe the way he tries to hold and clasp both his hands together probably to refrain himself from touching Jin. I feel sad for him really, and Jin comforting by laying his hand on JK’s thigh as if saying, “ It’s okay, I’m just right here beside you”.

This episode definitely has a more scripted feel: teams pre-chosen, Jin's "pink plan" approach to getting groans from members, J-Hope's uncharacteristic comment about fighting while trying to salvage some humor from the idea, and so on. I found this episode as entertainment to be a bit of a dud. Better episodes give a free reign to the member's creative ideas and verbal jousting. Army loves seeing their authentic selves. Borahae
All episodes are scripted... it's all about how the members decide to act and express themselves towards the script. I think Jin tries to make it exciting for the other members and production team with his ideas. But JK seemed not interested... it must have felt like work to most the members more than fun
And what's annoying is Jimin keeps.on entering the picture. Can't he read the atmosphere that the 2 are having a something? I've always felt that he is waiting in the wings for Jk.
He is most probably instructed by the company to interrupt any JinKook moment taking place unconsciously. I think sometimes Jimin is also tired of the forced fanservice or the interruptions he is made to do. But he probably wants to protect JinKook more than anything so he does it. Same for the rest especially Hobi. Jimin's words and actions may seem like he is sowing discord between JinKook but knowing his personality which is kind and compassionate...this behaviour is not congruent with it. Jin himself praised Jimin as being the kindest member. So I believe Jimin is just acting according to the script provided by Hybe to interrupt Jin and JK and maybe adlib a bit when things go a bit far. If you notice when JinKook are bickering and playfighting the others don't interrupt them. But when they get handsy like massaging neck or holding hands etc the others will come to interrupt.

As usual, I can’t resist playing the devil’s advocate, so please bear with me😊 I think this episode may be more heavily scripted than usual. Anyone who has assembled IKEA furniture would know how tedious and even frustrating it can be s’times. So, I believe they need to spice it up so that there’d be s’thing worth watching than just seven people trying to put together pieces of furniture. We know J likes pink (for sweatshirts, hoodies, sportswear… yes), but it’s highly improbable that he’d want to have something as ludicrous as a pink room with beads on the walls. That was possibly to justify (and dramatize?) JH, RM, and V rejecting the idea of being his teammate. J is known for winning and is the King of Run BTS (there’s a whole video dedicated to it) so it’s unlikely that they don’t want to be in his team, right? JH telling J “if you team up with Jungkook when we’re making something, you’ll definitely fight” is as far from the truth as it can get. We’ve seen how Jinkook created a beautiful storybook together, and I’m sure we can think of other episodes where they’re cooking or making sthing without bickering. It is also possible that all was not well with Jinkook before the start of the show. JM had sat on J’s lap, but the “meaningless fanning” was not done with as much relish as at other times. JM looked rather uncomfortable to me. He may have been assigned to do the fanservice (usually to deflect us from a Jinkook interaction that happened in the same episode) but in this case, nothing had happened. Do you think that was just a Jinmin fanservice moment, and J had pulled out the nape-blowing move from a repertoire of fanservice antics to make the moment more believable, or do you think he’s more accepting/responsive to having the maknaes flirt with him now? The double task of trying to calm JK with one hand, and blowing on JM’s nape at the same time is a bit unsettling to me. I used to enjoy Jinkook moments much more (when the interactions were more unguarded, and genuine), but I can’t help but be disappointed with J now. The BTS J he shows to the public anyway, cos I have no idea what KS-j (or other members) are like irl. On the other hand, this could all be scripted of course. HYBE analysts would’ve realised that the jealousy theme is popular in certain regions of the BTS fandom, so what better way to spice up a lackluster episode than to throw in the moments we’ve just witnessed to generate more views, comments, and analyses. Just a thought.

I don’t find this to be quite true though, cos I’ve come across Taejin interactions that are initiated by J, and even when he doesn’t initiate the interaction, he seems totally into it when he’s caught in the moment. Although there are designated Jinmin concert moments, I find that most of their interactions occur backstage, in the practice room, or behind-the-scene as in this video. I’m disappointed because I don’t see any reason for it since he’s holding JK’s hand at the same time. What’s the message here then? (And if JK was really upset with him that day for other personal reasons, that would seem a bit insensitive.) In Run Ep 145, the rather loud Jinmin interaction could’ve been to cancel out JK’s action of trying to take the fan from J, although I don’t see how that can reveal their relationship. Most people will see it as Tom & Jerry bickering anyway. No doubt JK does Taekook/Jikook fanservice too, but they are probably just as many as Taejin/Namjin/Jinmin combined, and definitely not as loud as Taejin. They just seem to get blown out of proportion.... even a 10sec Taekook moment can get exaggerated, with many clips being posted on various social media soon after, just as how Jungkook Hickey was trending y’day. I do believe that JM really bit JK so that he’d put him down. They had been drinking, but I don’t think they were drunk as they have practice the next day. The timeline is not clear and the place was not mentioned. It could have been a few hours before the video was captured (they do practise till very late/after midnight) or it could be the night before (if the video was filmed the day after). It could probably be in the same building, in their lounge area, or it could be outside, but I doubt they could be that boisterous in a public place. I believe that when the staff saw the bite mark, JK may have explained to him what happened, and he could’ve taken that as an opportunity to include it in the behind-the-scene as a Jikook fanservice moment to nullify Jinkook’s hickeys that have been the subject of discussion since time immemorial (although those could be explained away as having sensitive skin/rash).😊

@@theitgal100 I don't think so, I think they are just tired and have to put furniture together. The interaction could have been scripted because no one was in the mood. Notice how everyone was silently working. On a regular basis Jimin needs Jin to feel happier and is very boyish with him. The only other theory I could come up with is if he noticed JK angry with Jin, then this is his savage way of showing JK "well Jin could play with me if you want to be playful with him" 🤣🤣...

I think this episode may be more heavily scripted than usual. Anyone who has assembled IKEA furniture would know how tedious and even frustrating it can be s’times. So, I believe they need to spice it up so that there’d be s’thing worth watching than just seven people trying to put together pieces of furniture. We know J likes pink (for sweatshirts, hoodies, sportswear… yes), but it’s highly improbable that he’d want to have something as ludicrous as a pink room with beads on the walls. That was possibly to justify (and dramatize?) JH, RM, and V rejecting the idea of being his teammate. J is known for winning and is the King of Run BTS (there’s a whole video dedicated to it) so it’s unlikely that they don’t want to be in his team, right?
JH telling J “if you team up with Jungkook when we’re making something, you’ll definitely fight” is as far from the truth as it can get. We’ve seen how Jinkook created a beautiful storybook together, and I’m sure we can think of other episodes where they’re cooking or making sthing without bickering.
It is also possible that all was not well with Jinkook before the start of the show. JM had sat on J’s lap, but the “meaningless fanning” was not done with as much relish as at other times. JM looked rather uncomfortable to me. He may have been assigned to do the fanservice (usually to deflect us from a Jinkook interaction that happened in the same episode) but in this case, nothing had happened. Do you think that was just a Jinmin fanservice moment, and J had pulled out the nape-blowing move from a repertoire of fanservice antics to make the moment more believable, or do you think he’s more accepting/responsive to having the maknaes flirt with him now?
The double task of trying to calm JK with one hand, and blowing on JM’s nape at the same time is a bit unsettling to me. I used to enjoy Jinkook moments much more (when the interactions were more unguarded, and genuine), but I can’t help but be disappointed with J now. The BTS J he shows to the public anyway, cos I have no idea what KS-j (or other members) are like irl.
On the other hand, this could all be scripted of course. HYBE analysts would’ve realised that the jealousy theme is popular in certain regions of the BTS fandom, so what better way to spice up a lackluster episode than to throw in the moments we’ve just witnessed to generate more views, comments, and analyses. Just a thought.

I always welcome other's view on this episode. and Yes, JIN here is the JIN OF BTS ... his playing fan service with Jimin.... but when it come's to Jk..he goes back to being Seokjin. HYBE now is playing along with what the fans wants to see. And I think 2020 was the year when BIGHIT and HYBE realized the impact of JINKOOK in BTS. Coz recently, wether they accept it or not, many became a BTS FAN because of JINKOOK... and I am one of that.

Then I would like to know how you feel about the recent Jikook hickey incident??? First of all when jimins gave Jk the bite, there were no cameras. And then the whole thing was made public by Jk himself explaining to the whole world. And Jin had to listen to all these shits.
You can't digest a simple Jinmin moment ,, then what about all those loud Jikook and taekook moments??

@@hobisunshine8207 JK doesn’t own J of course, and J is free to fanservice, but most Jinkookers have given the impression that J is reserved and is not very enthusiastic about fanservice. I don’t find this to be quite true though, cos I’ve come across Taejin interactions that are initiated by J, and even when he doesn’t initiate the interaction, he seems totally into it when he’s caught in the moment. Although there are designated Jinmin concert moments, I find that most of their interactions occur backstage, in the practice room, or behind-the-scene as in this video. I’m disappointed because I don’t see any reason for it since he’s holding JK’s hand at the same time. What’s the message here then? (And if JK was really upset with him that day for other personal reasons, that would seem a bit insensitive.) In Run Ep 145, the rather loud Jinmin interaction could’ve been to cancel out JK’s action of trying to take the fan from J, although I don’t see how that can reveal their relationship. Most people will see it as Tom & Jerry bickering anyway.
No doubt JK does Taekook/Jikook fanservice too, but they are probably just as many as Taejin/Namjin/Jinmin combined, and definitely not as loud as Taejin. They just seem to get blown out of proportion.... even a 10sec Taekook moment can get exaggerated, with many clips being posted on various social media soon after, just as how Jungkook Hickey was trending y’day. I do believe that JM really bit JK so that he’d put him down. They had been drinking, but I don’t think they were drunk as they have practice the next day. The timeline is not clear and the place was not mentioned. It could have been a few hours before the video was captured (they do practise till very late/after midnight) or it could be the night before (if the video was filmed the day after). It could probably be in the same building, in their lounge area, or it could be outside, but I doubt they could be that boisterous in a public place. I believe that when the staff saw the bite mark, JK may have explained to him what happened, and he could’ve taken that as an opportunity to include it in the behind-the-scene as a Jikook fanservice moment to nullify Jinkook’s hickeys that have been the subject of discussion since time immemorial (although those could be explained away as having sensitive skin/rash).😊
@@emman.8655 First of all Namjin is not even a loud fanservice ship. Jin and Namjoon just stand side by side,, people start to scream Namjin are married. Ridiculous. So let's not compare Namjin with other ships.
Also I strongly disagree with you that Jikook and taekook are small compared to Taejin. I have no Idea what makes you think that.
They have to do fanservice. It's their business but the difference between between Jin and Jk is that when loud Jikook or taekook moments happen,, Jin doesn't show his emotions. He compose himself very well even if he feels jealous sometimes. He is so understanding unlike Jk who gets jealous and sulky and ignores Jin.
Don't assume that Jk was upset with Jin before this ep and Jin was being insensitive towards him. There should be some limitations to your speculations.
Everything is not your ship related.
And it doesn't matter if Jikook were drunk or not,, it doesn't change the fact that Jimin bit Jk's neck giving such a prominent mark. In both the cases of being drunk or not being drunk,, the neck is a sensitive part.
Jimin could stop Jk in so many ways but he decided to bite Jk's neck only.
