@ Thanks, it was a beautiful accident. I wrote this on guitar when I was 24 yrs old but I can't play even basic chords on guitar. I just fumbled around and found these chords, but still couldn't play it. The staff guitarist at the studio performed it. That was in 1976. I just re-recorded it this year with modern equipment on keys. I still don't know the chord names, just fumbled around until I found the notes. I guess sometimes not knowing what you're doing helps with the creative process.
Wonderful song, beautifully made. Wow! You made that in 1976! That's 12 years before I began composing music. I love that 70s soft sound, it brings me back to my childhood. I love how even the remake sounds right at home with 70s-80s music. I think 1976 was the year my dad grew tomatoes and peppers in his garden deep into December (it's a huge deal because here our average first and lasts frosts are October 15 and May 15 on average) and we had some fresh veggies still in very early January (picked in mid-December). Then right before Christmas, the cold arrived and January 1977 was one of the most infamously cold months (nothing compared to February 1979 or January 1994, though).
Thanks very much for the comments. Actually, this is not the original version. That one was mostly acoustic guitar, vocal, and a string machine. I re-recorded the song this past year and that's the version you've heard. Chris West is doing the incredible sax part.
Very cool late night jazz sound 😎😎😎😎😎
Thanks very much!
This is a beautiful song !! Wonderful singing and composition!! ❤❤❤
Thanks! The vocal track is doubled. Chris Chavez is the one with the beautiful voice who doubled my very weak voice.
@ whatever you did, it sure worked out perfectly!!

Robert, this is an excellent original! The sax and vocals are great, and you play all instruments beautifully.
Thanks! That is Chris West doing the amazing sax track and Chris Chavez has the great voice. I just did the easy parts.
Wow! Beautiful song, Robert!💛✨️
Thank you!! It's a very old song originally recorded with acoustic guitar. This version is so different, but I enjoyed making it.
