I’m so glad they’re not forcing the va to do a different accent as a Brit it’s so hard to do an American properly without training and the Scottish accent fits her so well

The reason this felt weird to me, is mostly the fact that the animation and the voice have a dissonance: the voice felt like it's read without direction at times, the animation's pacing doesn't sync with the voice (not talking about mouth movement), and the VA's delivery doesn't felt like it matches the situation at some scenes. But then again, this is MY observation. So for all things considered, these stuffs can also be subjective.

not scottish, but the voice acting does feel a bit off in places, like she seems to fluctuate between a thick and subtle accent a lot and when her accent becomes more subtle she sounds more english than scottish, cant find out anything about the VA to find their natural accent unfortunately to see if its a forced accent or if the voice direction just wasn't great
it's a nice accent, but i wish they could put more emphasis on matching the character's voice, even after i heard the jp, kr, or cn version i feel like the en dub for this character is the weirdest/doesn't match the character he's playing
I swear their English dubbing studio is has a lot of opportunity! Once they're more consistent with the accents and how they want the characters to sound, they'd do great! But I'm glad they stopped doing the fake American accents. The British accents sound much more natural.

That accent is 100% fake. Sounds like someone is trying to sound Irish, Scottish and northern at the same time. The most telling was her saying “much” in different accents (in this clip it sounded northern, but later on it was more standard English), This really threw me off and i had such high hopes when she started off sounding Scottish.
gotta admit the first few lines were kinda offputting. too thick an accent for my liking. towards the end though she went a lil bit easier on it and IMO hit a perfect balance there
