That really is an amazing snap shot in time. The AWD TL 6x4 tipper (probably with an L10 and Fuler 9 speed) was a rare machine in its day and we are treated to one very early on. I think the film shows that ERF was the backbone of Britain too. Interesting to note that the Mercedes SK range seems to be the most prevalent foreign vehicle in the range and that whilst there are a few R cab Scania's most of the Scanias are the smaller P cabs. Brilliant.
Hello there. I was impressed with that film footage. I have always liked trucks. Specially the older ones. I'm in the Ribble valley, there are lots of trucks on the A59 and around Clitheroe and the Cement works. Leyland trucks were built not far away. Although they are no more. If Leyland were still making trucks today, they would have been the best. The main of trucks you see today all copied off Leyland and other British trucks.
