very good videos man, i knew most those kids which are very effective in sparing, i have tested them i can tell you that these kinds are very fast and powerfull
Thank you very much, another great video. Can you please explain to me, you mentioned the first kick is 'Jit Tech' front kick or snap kick. Then you mentioned 'Jit Tech' again but is a 'stop kick', is that correct?
Jeet Tek literally translates to intercepting kick or stop kick. It's also the side kick. The first one he showed is the side kick to the mid section and the second one is to the knee cap which is the most practical JKD kick.
Hand trapping video was great! This one needs work! Jkd has evolved! Jkd now doesn't really go all well with high and some med kicks, too much energy, too easy to grab the legs, low and some med gated kicks are very encouraged but be careful with those high kicks!
JKD ACADEMY OF MMA Sifu George Hajnasr I thought you were from Brooklyn; I'm from Brooklyn NY and our accents when we speak are similar. No JKD dojos that I know of where I live now (Westchester County NY). 😕
@@SifuGeorgeHajnasrJEETKUNEDO Hmm... I can try. In the meantime I will explain further. In the example of the side kick (but not limited to) once you make contact with the target, the leg should snap back. 1. Movement towards target. 2. Simultaneous foot displacement 3. Kick firing off penetrating target 4. Leg snaps back. This increases power and penetration, prevents leg remaining extended leaving one vulnerable to attack, and promotes quicker more efficient movement for any follow up movement. Your technique is good. Like your videos. Just a question. Another example to clarify would be punching. A mental trick I learned from another practitioner of JKD was when punching, focus on the return snap verses focusing on penetrating 6 inches behind. So... see target and punch explodes automatically (no change in that principle) the change is not focusing on the 6 inch penetration rather focus on the snap return. Immense increase in speed and power instantly. Thanks for responding BTW. Much respect
Great demonstration! Really useful for street fighting. Because all JKD kicks are simple and direct to reach the target's opponent, with full power!
Great high kick

You also need to bring your foot back down quicker ideally. At least in actual combat you would.
Good savate!

Why are you not snapping your kicks back? Example: Side kick... Your leaving your leg out there and potentially loosing power
Can you please upload a video of you doing it ? I don’t understand what you mean . I love to learn .

I don't think Bruce Lee used all these kind of kicks ...
Little like Savate kicks.
JV Yeah... a little like those. Do you know of some good savate kicking tutorials?
There are some good ones on here.
