Took my dad to see Lifetime when this album came out. Saw them a couple times. This is my favorite record of theirs.
It's good but Jersey's Best will always be the quintessential Lifetime album
Lifetime and Kid Dynamite's vocals are my sole aspiration in music ahahaha
They are both are sooo good
People need to know this band existed before most of the bands everyone here is saying "sounds like" and consider that maybe their sound influenced that band...

Exactly, atleast pete gave them their money they earned and let them basically do whatever they wanted to do, so honestly it was a very smart move for Lifetime, they werent binded to any sort of contract that made them do anything they didnt want to.

If any of y'all think that classical music or percussion ensembe is old and dead, then look around you. People are continuing to write songs like that. Like I said, they get better because of new Ideas, and old Ideas are the foundation.

Lifetime is way too punk rock for this label...but as long as their sound is the same and they make more money, I'm happy for them. Melodic hardcore punk is the way to be

@greens618 nothing was wrong with us. this was the first time anybody had heard this video dude. the album, and even the singles, weren't out yet. i can tell you though people went fucking apeshit for the rest of the day. they played pretty much every song they knew how to inbetween the 20+ times they filmed themselves playing this song.

@Outerspaceman21 Blueline Medic's 'The Apology Wars' LP was put out by that label. The Medic - like Lifetime,- are a great band. Former members of Caustic Soda and MYC, how could they possibly suck?

I'd like a return to 2006-2008 era Hardcore, Metal, Emo, Emo-core, Rap Metal, Reggea, Indie Rock, Alternative and Ska. Music has gotten so weak and depressing. We had something interesting in this era and I wonder if we could capture that again? Avenge Sevenfold, Tatu, Evanescence, Coheed and Cambria, Kittie, Fall Out Boy, Panic at the Disco, the Ataris and Less Than Jake, Later Marilyn Manson and Ozzfest Ozzie Osbourne, to a lesser extent Slipknot and System of a Down. 🤔 A Return to Bad Ass Rock Music and Thrash Metal too and some harder versions of Punk, Mall Emo and Mall Punk is fun, but I'm too old for it. These above bands have contributed to Punk Rock and Alternative and should be considered in the Punk Rock Museum.
@Outerspaceman21 Back in the day Fueled had some great bands, they put out the first Bigwig 7", they had the hippos, the impossibles, animal chin, fun size. They were pretty fucking cool. It didnt start to suck till the major labels bought it. I dunno which one, i think interscope. Now Vinny from Less Than Jake owns paper or plastic records. It's pretty fuckin good. They put out the new Gamits cd.

@xalstarx Dude, this was two years ago, I don't know what I was talking about. Maybe I was referring to Decaydance Records, but they're a subsidiary of Fueled by Ramen, so whatever. All I know is, Panic at the Disco sucks.
basically, they're a hardcore band that chilled out. you could call them emo, but the terms been so stretched out that you can pretty much call anything emo now...
lifetime is one of my favorite bands, i just dont understand why theyre on fueled by ramen. fueled by ramen used to be decent, with the impossibles, but now they arent anything. lifetime is the only good band on it right now they deserve a better label(that doesnt mean sellout to a bigger label, it means a more respected label in the underground punk scene)kid dynamite is the shit also. less than jake USED to be good, what happened to them? and i believe pietasters were on ramen? weird hahah
