The reason for only one mirrex at is that you often want to cast no more lies on turn 2. Getting too greedy with the mana base will lose more games than it wins imo

Arne huschenbeth how do you feel about profts memory edict and ledger shredder together alon with control and just ramping up the draw spells
Or playing some type of hexproof or indestructible for the shredder
Hopefully u get back to me about that I already put profts edict in my phoenix deck and makes ledger shredder so much better I don’t even care about getting phoenix back so I was thinking of making some type of combo with shredder and profts edict
Oh my god, what a nightmare grind match against Cryptic Coat. That card is super annoying. Thanks for the heads up with this video. Also how the tables have turned on March in Standard. The card used to be too inefficient in the past and now its a 4-of. Kinda sad that you only faced grindy piles, instead of some quick games against Convoke or something similar.

a while ago i ran into Dimir playing cryptic coat vs my UW control and i realized, after 1 match, that this card is almost unbeatable unless you have dedicated answers. really annoying that Get Lost doesn't target artifacts. you may not get solo'd by the coat itself, but you will use so many resources dealing with those 3/2 unblockables that it basically ends up solo'ing you as a control player.
