Never caught a sturgeon but in Capaen Wray where we go diving in the winter there are two pet ones that I have seen while diving, anyway what you need for your snotty nose is a couple of drams of Scottish medicine to make you feel better anyway!

Having had sturgeon to 7Lbs in the past, it didnt look like it by the way it was behaving, I agree with you it might have been what Andy May calls, A Big Wobblely Carp. Never mind mind Dave.
