I mean, if you compare a literal armored tank like Gordon that has slaughtered your entire family of fellow headhumpers. Your probably gonna want to get on that real quick and abandon your crappy previous meatsack. So this is actually kinda cool in the way that it shows the intelligence of a headcrab.

I often forget when it comes to the zombies of Half-Life, it’s the head crab you’re killing, not the host.
And while the host is alive, they’re not in control.
if you primarily target the body though it will just kill the host separately and the headcrab will detach and attack you.
I never see this in game
This is what happens when you kill the zombie but the headcrab survives.

@@lambda-m1676 Well, Valve cut a lot of cool things, like this, the poison headcrab’s ability to spit poison at the player, the cremator, and so much more.
Imagine your wearing helmet armour and you can still die to the HEADcrab 💀

I wonder how the game artists made these things in 2004. A mod with more detail would look amazing but probably run slow. I heard that the Source engine uses the CPU not GPU for graphics a lot so that is why speed is the same across many many computers with amazing new GPUs. I get higher and more stable FPS in newer games because of this.

No, it uses the GPU for graphics when available. The reasons you get higher FPS in newer games include:
-better SIMD resources available
-shader programming of the GPU
-modern graphics APIs, especially Vulkan/DX12 which supports multicore rendering
-multithreaded processes

@@lambda-m1676 just let him go he probably never played half life and only played the counter strike ripoff sfg2 wich uses the half life 2 headcrabless zombie models for the zombie mode
@@lambda-m1676 at back then when SFG1 released, they used the CSO/CSNS glove, the female CT is Natasha Casual from CSO/CSNS, thus the zombie arms are from CSO/CSNS

What’s the difference between half-life and gmod?
half life is a game that you have to follow,gmod has the same engine but you can do anything build map rooms etc.

@@CowMilktobespecific Basically half-life is a game with it's lore, you play by it's design (w/healthpoint, etc) where as Gmod is literally sandbox / creative mod which contains content from valves game such as half life

They can't, this is a mod. It was scrapped in the development but can still be recreated in the Source SDK with loads of coding.

Edit: It actually is unused and was found way back then on the Source SDK. If you want to re-integrate this feature it will need various amounts of scripting.
