Most solid player this season.
Gravenberch makes the hard things Slot asks for in possession look easy. He is ridiculously good receiving under pressure, and often spins on markers and leaves them for dead and charges up the field with the ball.
The question mark last season was his defensive nous. Playing the defensive game as an 8 for Klopp is very very hard. Playing the defensive game as a 6 for Slot is much more manageable, as Slot insists the entire team is very quick to clog the central channel in the transition to defense.
Even all the Manchester girls are in to Ryan, true love.
He's been great. I still want us to get another number 6 but just for rotation so Grav's not run into the ground and can be protected from unnecessary injuries.

Everyone talks about it being a double pivot but that's not really true at all. It's a staggered setup when we're building up but the other 2 are well advanced and rotations start happening with the ball in the half spaces. Without the ball it's a 4-2-4 when pressing and that's not really a pivot, either.
Not only is Ryan a very handsome fellow with a beautiful smile ...he also happens to be a pretty good footballer !! Love the guy YNWA 😊

Epl player of the season in first games…. One yr to adjust to epl, bulked up so now bossing midfield. Viera at his peak!!! 6ft 3 improved physicality, pace, dribbling.. boss
There will be games when Endo and Grav play together - City away for example. It will be mega.
My only fear with Gravenberch is that if he carries on playing like this then Real Madrid will come sniffing soon
