The construction line, alignment to x axis is a neat trick. Thanks for continuing to spread knowledge to the Fusion community!

    Really great teaching resource 👍
Development is moving so fast in F360, that a constant stream of vids like this one, is almost essential.
Well done..... and more please ..
    Regards
    Robert

Had a quick question on the tri triangle.
On my haas vf2 I typically select it so the y is to the back of the machine and x arrow pointed in the negative direction.
You mentioned it is the positive direction. Is that the positive off of the machine zero ?
Just wanna understand it fully lol
It’s worked the way I’ve been doing it however didn’t wanna make bad habits lol 😊

Thanks Angelo. I would love to hear more about probing. not only the how to but the reasoning behind it.
In what scenario would you use stock probing and in what scenario will you use model probing?
Also is this in any way related to using a touch plate or is this a totally different thing ?

    Hi
I think there may be a problem with Probing at the Setup tab in Manufacture. If you generate a Center rectangle in the Design function 1” x 4.5” extrude to 1.5”. Then go to Manufacture, Setup, put the WCS to the upper left hand corner of the Stock. Then do a Probe (simulate) using the Left side and Rear Side it will fail when Probing the X direction.
Using the first Probe in the selection table as the tool.
If you generate the same Part in Design using the 2 Point Rectangle with the origin point being the upper left point. Then go to Manufacture, Setup, put the WCS to the upper left hand corner of the Stock. Then do a Probe (simulate) using the Left side and Rear Side it will be OK when Probing the X Side.
Since I am just learning about the Manufacture portion of Fusion I may be doing something wrong. I using a paid version of Fusion.

and another Q: when learning to program computers it is customary that your first program in a new language you learn would be one that prints the words "Hello World.".
Is there a CNC milling "Hello world"? or should I just mill out these words out of some stock?

haha i love your question:) The answer is no, with Gcode you are mostly writing coordinate points. The canvas before that, and the relationships between the points afterward.

Hi guys, thanks for great video. I have a question, is there is a way to move WCS origin point along the axis by a certain distance?
For example, I want it to be 1" above the stock.

You can adjust the coordinate system using macro variables. You could say #xxxx = [#xxxx + 1.0] or something similar.
