Classic Arma, you can do heli liftting just fine but it's janky as fuck in how it's done, i don't think the game engine was ever intended to do something like that
I could see one fighting a chaos marine, then staring into the chaos marine's eyes before backing up shooting an annoying guardsman, and then look back to the chaos marine. Said chaos marine just shrugs in sympathy.
Whats really sad is, that thing with the missile happened irl while i was in afghanistan. Not with a missile, though, thank god. Some dipstick was screwing around with his M-203 grenade launcher and popped a smoke round into the Blackhawk that was landing to take us out. It nailed the tail rotor nigh on to perfectly and grounded the bird for hours. Bonus: we got to sit with it until it got fixed to pull security. The dipstick got his rifle with the 203 taken away from him and got to stand guard with a pistol that had to remain holstered unless there was a threat recognized by his partner. After that mission, that soldier got an art 15 and reassigned to be a clerks assistant for the rest of the deployment. He wasnt even a clerk, just an 'assistant'! He made coffee and emptied the trash in the HQ tent. I wonder if thirty years from now he'll get invited to be on a documentary about the Afghan war and just what his 'war stories' will be. Lol.
