    • @TopeA8
      @TopeA8 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      That's because of 2 things

      2) He was bullied before he became a boxer, so the orgasmic reaction that he says he gets from fighting is likely a response to being the one doing the hurting.

      @@GonnaGetYouBoi Scared of the fight. He openly said he was so nervous that he regularly threw up right before the walk-in. It's not about being scared, that's a natural reaction. It's about how you deal with being scared. Tyson made the walk, despite being scared, that's what made him a fighter.

    I love this.
    I'm an artist. I don't like drawing. I don't like painting. If I think about it, I think about how long it's going to take, how likely I am to mess up,how much prep I have to do to organize all my shit, the sheer concentration necessary to not get up and do anything else. But if I just shut the fuck up, sit down and start putting down a line or stroke then I think maybe I can do another. Then another. At some point I forget that I'm sitting alone staring at a page. I'm turning nothing into something and I get more and more excited watching that something take shape.
    I think this is how all creative or challenging goal-oriented endeavors work. Fuck how you feel....just do! You never know what's going to come of the simple act of doing if you can just get past all of the initial thoughts screaming at you not to. Inertia is a motherfucker but you can overcome it.

    He had to fight, to uphold the deal he made with the aliens, when they uploaded the "jab, level - max", and "wrestling, level - max" programs to his hard drive. They also erased his memory, so that's why he only knows that on a deep, subconscious level.

    I mean it's pretty obvious no? He's one of the few that went into retirement gracefully. A lot of these guys refuse to quit because they love fighting so much, and their record suffers. GSP for sure liked competing and intellectually dominating his opponent tho. I don't think it was really about having a great time dishing out damage like some other fighters.
