Very nice! A couple of suggestions: I always put a plain white or light colored plain fabric on the inside to show the wearer which side should be toward the face. Also, It seem that the channels for the elastic could be made by not sewing the top and bottom all the way to the end. No need to fold over after the mask is top stitched. I like the shape and the fact that it is cut down so it doesn't poke the wearer in eye. The straight pleated masks seem to. do that for some people. Also the removable wire would make washing easier. Great instructions and you make it look so easy to do. I'm going to give it a try. I've made many masks and keep looking for a pattern that will be comfortable for most people. I understand what you are suggesting. but to make it two different fabrics, the the pattern would not be able to fold in at the sides. The nose wire ribbon indicates which side is the inside. I also like that the elastic channels are folded in because it makes the mask adjustable to fit the face.
I've been making many of these for awhile now and everyone that I make them for say that they are the most comfortable masks of any they have tried. I also like that they use very little fabric and are so easy to make. Thanks so much!
