As a couple the resort is definitely more than enough unless you really want a private pool. Being so close to the facilites does have its advantage. But as a group or family for sure the villa will give you a better and closer experience! you can actually get food and drinks and cooking utensils to have your own house party kind of experience. Plus you get all the facilities if the hotel part! als omaybe easier to keep an eye on the kids in a smaller private pool. Hope that helps!
