Thanks for taking the time to go through all of those. I love Lockback hunters, and while I don’t carry them as often these days, my 110 was on my belt everyday for a long long time. This post went perfect with my morning coffee!
I have to totally agree on the old timer 2 blade hunter. I grew up in the 80s also and that's 1 that sticks in my memory. Gotta case 2 blade hunter but need to get an old timer myself. A lot of these knives took me back
That Edgemark and the Frost are really hand fulls! They been advertising the Frost again on Cutlery Corner! You’re a lucky man. My OCD prevents me from mixing and matching knives and sheaths. 😂. I need to get a case Mako or a similar knife.
Impressive collection, KD! To me , it's nice to see used leather sheaths, they develop character, same as knives. Loved the ones with a metal star (for Texas I guess). That Rigid knife is beautiful.
Thank you for risking the wrath of your wife to make this video. lol That is a fantastic collection of hunting knives. You couldn't have timed this any better, I'm starting a six day pheasant hunt later this morning, with my trusty 110 on my belt. Seeing this collection was a great way to enjoy some morning coffee before a hunt! Brought a couple of my other favorite bird knives too, my Case two-bladed folding hunter, my Case slimline trapper, and my Buck 102 woodsman. This is going to be a great week! Cheers, my friend.
I also remember the one you said Kmart sold. I think they were named sharp or sharp edge or something. Either way I owned a few. When you were a teenager in the 80s or younger you thought you really had something. Cause I sure couldn't afford the 110 or the Mako. I remember staring at the mako at the variety store atleast once a week wishing I had one of the makos and that cool assed Sheath it came with
I used all types of folding knives though the years of all kinds and sizes, on duty belts and off duty l carry and I don't get into brands I just use them when needed, that's the way it should be, nice collection you have and use what you have..
Impressive collection, and impressive will power to finish the video while knowing your wife is waiting, waiting, waiting. The Grohman is one seldom seen. Gracias.
Would you believe I did not have a Buck 110 until BH gave me one. Had he not given me one I probably still wouldn’t have one. I had several 5 inch lockbacks; just not a Buck. As for memory, I have a lot of notes!
man im jeleous i didnt know about thee 25ot, a good friend of me gave me a 125ot but i livee on the eeast coast and im forever trying to keep rust of the 1095highcarbone blade but i love it
The big issue I have with ALL...A L L , of the Old Timer/Schrade knives is the sharp edges on the handles that HURT and cause blisters when the knife is used for long periods, more than 10 minutes. BUCK knives have softer, rounded edges and are much better.
No it was not 1990 schrade cutlre closed the doors in 2007 thin taylor brand reopened it now there maid in china but none was maid in china back in 1990

Thanks Bill, I’m glad you liked it :)

Me too buddy:) I have to fight the OCD constantly when it comes to my knives, sheaths and knife selection :)

Nice collection you have there. I needa get me a Boker 2000 user. The old timers are supercool too.
Thanks Zen!
Rigid knives are really scarves and collectible. Rough Ryder made clones of several of the fixed blades in the heavy hunter series.
Nice collection of large hunters. Memory starts to go as you get older. 🤠
Who is this???! :)

That's a Frost Commanche (Frost's spelling) Bigfoot! I have a collection of them (7), all in different handle colors.
Just a word of advice, never keep your wife waiting.
Thanks buddy :) I remembered the correct name after I did the video :)
@@jimmyj4811 Yup, you are correct sir....
If you've never owned a Buck 110, you're just not a 'Murican. 👍

Yes, that’s why when I find a nice vintage Old Timer that is broken in with smooth edges I really enjoy carrying it .
I have a Winchester foldin knife 2005.
Cool
👍
Your knives will stop tarnishing if you store them out of the sheath
Yes sir , I should probably do that.
