what an amazing story. I feel in my heart their freedom and hardship. my best times are always somewhere for weeks in nature, alone. guiding my fire, doing those things that need to be done, a true fulfilling lifestyle, at least for me. no TV, no Internet, no radio. what leaves a sting in my heart is that government presses those people to give up their kids education just to bring them to schools that teach them how to be dependent on a state. but this shows the brutal way those government are completing theast to make us believe we need a state and a political elite that makes rules nobody needs. so.. the gods of the sun, the winds, the waters and air protect those last few true humans we have and thank you, who brought this to us, for letting us know how different a life can be. maybe it's hard, maybe there is not such time for play.. but it's a honest life, with comrades, family and the herd and that is something, we, the 'educated ones' deeply miss and try to fill this hole in the hearts with shopping, fashion and gossip.

What a beautiful rich culture. Sad to hear that Soviet Russians came and took away all their reindeer and fur despite the fact that these nomadic people put so much effort into the work. The Chukcha ladies have soft and quiet voices but the Russian dubbed voice (reading the translation) is rude. Couldn’t the film makers find a softer and pleasant voice to dub?

AI on google came up with this came up with this....
Mongolian nomad funerals include sky burials, open-air burials, and rituals that honor the deceased.
      Sky burials
A common practice in Mongolia, sky burials involve placing a body in a coffin and leaving it on a cliffside for exposure to the elements and wildlife.
Stones are sometimes placed around the body to ward off evil spirits.
Once the body is gone, the stones represent the deceased's soul.
      Open-air burials
The body is placed in the steppe and the funeral procession returns home.
The funeral cart is left outside the deceased's yurt, overturned, and brought back after seven days.
The procession walks between two fires to drive away evil spirits.
      Other rituals
The body may be carried on an auspicious day, such as Monday, Wednesday, or Friday.
The ger (tent) is marked with a stone to indicate that the area is off-limits for a period of time.
A miniature yurt is placed in front of the funeral stele to provide the deceased's soul with a life similar to that on earth.
Food offerings are made and purified.

These people are Siberians who live east of the Ural Mountains. At some point Czarist Russia annexed the territories east of the Urals and imposed the Russian language on these people. Some Siberians who live in extremely cold areas still speak a form of Turkish or a language related to ancient Turkish. Are Siberians related to the nomadic Turks of Antiquity or the Mongols? Siberians resemble Far-East Asians but some of the children have blond hair like Caucasians. Many of the nomadic people of Central Asia also share similar physical traits. There are Central Asian Turkish people who look like Caucasians. The physical distinctions of people living in Far-East Asia and Europe do not seem to apply to the people of Siberia and the Steppes of Central Asia. Maybe our concepts regarding race is a delusion. Race cannot be defined by physical appearance. Science require concrete physical entities to be defined something like race. Race is cultural. It is like language, music, and religion. It is an abstraction created by the human mind. As someone who is trained in the sciences I find the word "race" to be ambiguous. It is best to treat race as a cultural abstraction and not a concrete physical entity that can be clearly defined in the real world.

Hello there, I was wondering, if I can share with you the most important thing ever in life. God the Father sent His holy Son Jesus to earth, to be born of a virgin. He grew up and died on the cross- for our sins. Then He was put into a tomb for 3 days, after that Abba Father raised Jesus to life.He appeared to people, and went back to heaven. We all must sincerely receive Jesus into our life, to be God's child. John 1:12 "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name." Will you today genuinely by faith receive Jesus into your life for salvation?
