Only red clothing that has been dyed with the pigments from safflower is not permissible. Most, if not all red clothing made today uses artificial dyes or natural dyes made from other pigment sources, so they're halal

If a person wears the whole clothing red as costume its haraam if one combines red with another colour then there is no problem, of course silk is haraam so try to see if that shirt is made from silk its haraam or if its made from another material and if its red and from another material other than silk and combined with any other colour like shorts covering the awrah then it is halaal.
