Just noticed that your box says on the back middle "A fragrance by Roja Dove", but the original box does not have this writing in the middle of the back of box. Infact, that whole area is blank with no writing.
100% agree. The opening is a bit to get used to for me. Much like a lot of my bottles, it’ll sit back until one day I try it again and appreciate this bad boy more than I did when I first sprayed it….hopefully
Hi Brian thanks for your great informative review, I purchased a decant of Oceania last week! Not had a full road test yet but have done the initial spray on my skin and its seems promising. Looking forward to nice warm weather here in the UK to give it a full testing. Keep up the great work 👍.
I'm in a similar situation with a couple frags. I'm trying to not be as dismissive and am going to wear them in different situations and environments to see if they change or if my tastes evolve. I hope to at east appreciate the art behind them.
Interesting about skin and noses . I got more lime even knowing about the lemon & listea cubena . I thought it was a Fougere with a lot of accompanying and complimentary notes that added to it .
I LOVE Roja Burlington 1819. It has a beautiful grapefruit/lime opening but turns into this “dapper” gentleman dry down smell. I emptied a bottle in 2 months because I used it every day. I ordered 2 more bottles. I’m trying this one for my first time today.
Great review 👍 honestly I've worn it a few time's from a 15ml sample bottle and not really impressed! Lol the dry down is definitely a whole lot better but definitely not 300.00 dollar's! Better ! Lol lol lol If I'm gonna put out that type of money especially after owning so so so many fragrances! It really has to wow me from beginning of the fragrance till the far dry down. Lol
@tracer073 jaque fath gris vetiver ! There recent fragrance release " It's a beautiful bright aromatic citrus and some earthy tones in the mid and comes together at the dry down with this sensual hazelnut. A fantastic blend.
The bottle looks awesome but it’s the very reason I don’t trust the brand: There is a suspicious amount of emphasis on glitz. I feel like a true artist wouldn’t need, or even want, to let the bottle do so much of the talking. That said, very nice description.
what kind of crap is that lmao its luxury which means the entire thing has to be luxurious its not for the poor or barely even for the basic man. Its for the man who can afford the best they also expect the best in the entire package
@@daniell5740 I suppose it comes down to what you consider “the best” presentation of artwork. When you have a world class painting, you don’t put it in a frame studded with fake crystals; the conspicuous glitz detracts. Bortnikoff, by comparison, offers a nice bottle, but the focus is entirely on the ingredients, not some chandelier on top of the cap.
@@Sliceisnice850 it's just Rojas style.. he very much has an emphasis on using the highest quality ingredients. Roja himself (google him) is a very flamboyant and colourful individual.. so I suspect the crystals and design speaks to his own personality and style.. I would not dismiss the quality just because he has flamboyant bottles.. 99% of videos of him on TH-cam are him talking about fragrance and his passion and quest to making memories through scents and always talks about scents themselves and quality..
@@andrewhilton5953 We have no idea what quality ingredients Roja uses, though, right? It’s just something we’re told to believe. Also, a professional perfumer once told me that there is no way to determine ingredients’ “quality” once they’re blended, and she went on to dispute the very idea of “quality” ingredients as quality is subjective in olfactory materials, depending on need. I’ve also found the brand’s reputation, once you get away from TH-cam influencers and their free bottles, is quite poor. On Reddit’s r/fragrance, for example, there is a prevailing opinion that the perfumes are unremarkable and gussied up in fancy bottles and surrounded with hype to fool newcomers. Who knows. In any case, it’s such a big world of things to try, so it’s easy to skip over a brand that draws such mixed reviews.
Keepin it real while maintaining professionalism! Very well done, brother!
Thanks Dave! Much love ❤️

Thanks for your honest take on this scent!
You’re welcome Johnny!
Thanks for an honest review Brian! I will have to try this one this summer. 😊
You’re welcome Pete!
It's a Masterpiece IMO. The opening is gorgeous.
That’s awesome brother!

Hi, enjoyed the review. Please can I ask which other Roja freshies you have that you mention you prefer over Oceania?

Ouuuu yeahhhh...my 2 cents-is this perfume just awesome 👌
Mixed Creed Silver Mountain Water, Dalin baby shampoo and little bit Xerjoff Renaissance imho. It smells beautiful but it's weak.
Top tier presentation. For sure.🌊
i wish some house produced the same thing without the added decoration at a much lower justified cost
Check out Makin Scents. Word on the street they have a really good clone.
I got some coming sample I learning about the Oceania.
I have it. It's beautiful!
I simply love it🥰

Well said. Couldn’t agree more
Thanks Frank! Appreciate the support & great feedback!
Which fragrance you have or have smelled that wowed you, what’s the best in your collection and the best you have for summer?

Sorry, not worth the price for me. It is 8 out 10 for me
