I don't know if PRX was in a offday. Anyway, Team Secret is a team that likes to make big upsets. They had a lot of solid resistance and counters against PRX. To be honest, Team Secret's problem is whether they can perform consistently. If they can keep up this performance throughout the league, they will definitely finish in the top three easily.

Team Secret is a truly mysterious team. They often have inconsistent performances against teams of the same level, but they perform better than usual against opponents of a higher rank.

Sad to see people treating this game as a "fluke" or simply PRX doing bad/being specifically weak when facing TS. Let's be real. PRX didn't lose from mind games or necessarily played shit. TS simply put them in their place in what PRX is known for: winning duels and aim battles. They quite literally obliterated PRX in so many crucial fights and it was not that PRX played poorly but TS just being absolutely on point. They are inconsistent, but this team is slowly showing their competence that isn't just a fluke. People saying that it's just bc PRX is having a bad game obviously wouldn't say that for any other teams like Gen G losing to them, etc. By the same logic, it could've been Gen G doing bad and PRX not being exceptional. This double standard is crazy.
Fluke is a disrespectful term. If you are going to rely solely in this game's performance, ofcourse TS performance was top notch. But during playoffs and semi's its always the consistent teams that goes on top. That's how competitive esports works. You can't blame other people since PRX already went to Semis since 2022 and they were at their peak in 2023. I mean TS is from my country but I still think they still need to improve. I feel like ts is mostly the upset masters in the league. They’ve upset TL which was one of the most hyped up teams in emea. And then DRX and PRX both twice respectively. They are really inconsistent but at their best their really good

Last Week, Sentinels lose to Leviathan because of Aspas being demon mode. Today Paper Rex lose to Team Secret because of Jremy being demon mode and JessieVash read them well.

Here's the secret TS scrim a lot against PRX so jessie and the boys know how to outplay PRX it's that simple, if you watch the whole match you can tell TS is very familiar with what PRX is about to do. It's a matter of being over familiarized with your opponent.
That's what I'm thinking as well. I remember also that Alex consider TS as a strong team in the Pacific stronger than other Teams from other regions.
Secret had the perfect read every round on Sun set. They knew when it was a fake or if they were going to commit. The only reason Secret was losing rounds was because of the insane clutches from Mindfreak.

TS needs to hire more coaching staff like analyst or assistant coach. Maybe they can figure out how to fix the inconsistency
Their inconsistency really comes down to the individuals. Their strats are always good and their executes and protocols always look clean. It's just that they have days where seemingly no one can hit their shots. Jessievash and Jremy are probably the biggest culprits of this. They have games where they look absolutely world class with their aim and then the next game they can't hit a static target from 2 feet away.

2022- added jremy and invy in their roster didn't accomplish good wins
2023- TS won against PRX in their reign,also they won against DRX. (line up Jessievash, dubstep,burkom,invy,jremy)
2024- 1 rookie (NDG) added in their roster win against PRX with their main lineup
2021 TS Jessie, Dubstep, Witz, Dispenser, Borkum
Jremy was added on 2022 and Invy was added in Dec 2022 so basically 2023.

Your point on the percentage of TS's game played against PRX doesn't matter at all. They are considered very low impact games for PRX, and the percentage of TS matches vs games played by PRX is very low (you get the difference?).

Here's the issue with TS. They're insanely good with strats and utils execution but is just average aim-wise except maybe invy.

Teams playing against TS need to ban maps where Sova is good. It will definetly increase their winning chance . Jessie is a beast at Sova but no so much with other initiators.
Its gonna be the same no matter what. TS most comfortable maps are Icebox and Breeze, no matter what teams ban first, it'll be picked no matter what.
TS will perma ban bind as usual. Lotus seems to be their second worst map so I wont be surprised of the teams picked it against them.
Split, Sunset, and Ascent will be a tossup whether its the opposing teams strength or a decider 3rd map.

PRX didn't pick Icebox, TS did. They always perma ban Breeze which is TS comfortable map, so either way TS was in favor of the two.
And since Sunset is PRX comfort map, they picked it but well played to TS for playing that really well.

There's a lot of good players in APAC, consistent teams are PRX and DRX, strong teams are GENG and maybe T1. Team Secret has players like Invy and Jremy who are the most efficient players last qualifiers.

They have been facing ever since 2021 afaik. TS just started to fall off in 2022
since 2021. If I’m not wrong they were BREN before and won the first vct apac, prx 2nd. Due to visa issues, only prx got to represent apac in 2021
Last year Ts beat PRX and DRX, but loses to mid teams. This year are the same too, managed to beat PRX, but loses against RRQ.
