Wow! For some reason, out of nowhere, My conscience told me to seek out the book of Revelation. I will be 50 in March. Only now am I truly realizing I have done nothing for God. Even though I was raised as a believer, I lived my own sinful life. Please Jesus help me live you you for the remainder of my life. I am shuddering just thinking how REAL Jesus really is! It has really hit me! Praise God!
Amen James, I felt like that while on Active Duty, I retired shortly after and now my ministry is proclaiming the Gospel to my passengers. I am happier now giving up my status, high pay and all that were familiar to me.....now my fulfillment comes from Him, the strength of the Lord is my strength. I did this in my 40’s....Remember my Brother, God will restore ALL the years that you lost, the years that were eaten by the locust (Joel 2:25).

Wow James do I hear your fear and repentance as myself recently awoke to hear the callingive sinned my whole life and not a child raised with the faith I was very lost leaving home at on 12 years of age do to the violence my step father placed on me and my mother but to make this a shorter life story I rebelled against any and all authority due to the pains I had induced in my youth making. Mistake after mistake, but something one day no noticeable calling I just woke one day and knew life was going to be different but I’m still learning so much but refuse to go to churches to learn do to a not good experience as a new child I was punished and tormented for not going by what they thought proper living accommodations but instead of helping me they punished me and bullied me almost as my step father did it rattled my faith I was becoming so dear to my heart and true love but again the calling said come to me and I she be strong for you and haven’t stepped in a church but I learn eve day how lucky God forgave me for my past and has embraced me and I try to be a good person and follow the best I know how and truly know his love is so deep from me but to let you know we are strong with God in our lives now and stay in the faith for our Lord and saviour is not far from taking us home...

I turn 21 in a few weeks, I’ve made my mistakes. I used to smoke weed, drop acid, take mushrooms. I didn’t realize what I was doing until i was in deep. I told myself I was god at one point. I fell to the devils temptations and I fell deep. I humbly repent for my sins and my ways of sinful life. I’m trying my best to be a better man and live through god. It’s hard but I’m trying. I give my life to Jesus wether he accept me or not. I’ve always felt I was here to help other people be better but I didn’t know how to help myself. I fully devote the rest of my life to my lord and savior Jesus Christ. Amen 🙏🏾

Wow. It seems like I am you. I too have done everything that you have mentioned. I too say what if our Lord would not accept me for my sins. I have try dozens of time to stop taking drugs. Each time that I do, I say just one last time and then I get sick of myself. I tell GOD, "YOU MUST BE SICK AND TIRED OF ME SAYING, LIRD5 PLEADE HELP NE TO STOP THIS TROUBLESOMR OF WHAT I HAVE BECOME" THEN I START TO CRY AND GET MAD AT MYSELF FOR THE DAY THAT I PICKUP A DRUG. I ALSO STARTED TO CRY WHEN AT THE END THE PERSON WAS SAYING ALL THOSE BEAUTIFUL THINGS THAT OUR LORD HAS IN-STORE FOR HIS FOLLOWERS. afolabi adereti I get what your saying but wasn’t the forbidden fruit in the garden of eden put here by god? I’ve been so lost lately, feeling empty and idk. A lot goes through my mind and I think I’m alone sometimes. I’ve had moments of understanding but also moments of bit knowing anything. I don’t know what to believe and what not I think I had a bad experience because I was over doing it and that’s what it was trying to tell me but at the same time it was just so strange.
I am 16, lately I’ve been having this feeling that Jesus is coming. And Jesus wants me to change my ways I feel like he’s changing me I no longer show interest in hanging out or going to party’s, Ive had signs shown to me i know he’s coming soon, repent the time is near
It sounds like you are going through a spiritual awakening. I went through one in Dec 2018 up to now. When I was very young I was led to study revelations.

Jesus Christ is God, manifest in the flesh and He came on earth to die for our sins. He bore our sins on the cross of Calvary. Have you accepted His free gift of Salvation? Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour? Have you truly BELIEVED from your heart that Jesus Christ is LORD? Have you BELIEVED in the death, burial and resurrection found in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KING JAMES Bible? That's how a lost soul can get saved. Remember that it's NOT what we do that gets us saved, it's what Jesus Christ DID on the cross of Calvary, that's what SAVES a lost soul.

Amen Christa! I don't know if you know this... you must also Abide in Him, which means 'stay in Him, 'remain' in His word. The Bible serves for that purpose, to allow us to know Him more and more. 'And this is eternal life, that they may know You, Father, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent' (You can read this in John 17:1-3). I notice your message is only 1 month old, which tells me you are a new believer; I therefore highly recommend that you read the Gospel of John first, read it, meditate it (Psalm 1: Blessed is the man who ..... meditates His word day and night....), read it again and again! Ask the Holy Spirit to open your spiritual eyes before you read. The entire Bible is great, so get into it and read it! It is not enough to say a prayer and then continue in our sinful ways. We must truly repent; ask forgiveness for our sins and not continue in our sinful life. And by abiding in Him and in His word, He cleanses us. You see, sin keeps us away from His word, and His word keeps us away from sin! Are we free of all sins all the time? No, we are born in sin. What I am talking about is 'habitual sin'. If there is habitual sin in our life, we must be rid of it. That is true repentance. That is written All Over the Bible! There are so many verses that speak about repentance and holy living, they are non-ending. So what I recommend for you for now, is to read the Gospel of John, the book of Romans which really explains what Christ did for us, and the rest of the epistles in the New Testament also...Corinthians, Galatians, Philippians, Thessalonians, all of those; the entire New Testament. And of course, as much as you can, start reading the Old Testament as well; there are amazing stories and lessons to be learned from the very beginning in Genesis 1 until the prophets. The main thing is to understand that it is not just a 'little prayer' we must say. That prayer has led many people directly to hell and is still doing so because they believe that all they have to say is a little prayer and they are saved; many believe they can still live their sinful lives and get away with it. WE ARE NOT SAVED YET! None of us are, no matter how much time we spend in the word of God and in prayer, no one is saved yet....'we must always work out our own salvation with fear and trembling' Phil. 2:12-13. We will be able to say that we are saved when we meet our Savior and He accepts us into His kingdom, then will we be saved. Do not worry about not attending church right now if churches are closed in your area; many are in apostasy, in a very bad spiritual state. Some are good, but are hard to find. Just remain in the Bible, and in prayer, ask the Lord to guide you and help you. He knows your heart and your sincerity. Good TH-cam resources: Paul Washer - 'How to abide in Christ', Excellent for you! All of Paul Washer's messages are really awesome, he teaches true repentance and not the ear-ticking, prosperity stuff many preach today. Another one is the late David Wilkerson - you can view and listen to many of their teachings on You tube. I highly recommend these two to you for now, be careful on TH-cam, there is good and there is very bad as well! Ask the Lord for discernment. Hope this helps and blesses you. I am a sister in Christ and will see you one day in the clouds, but let us make sure we continue in the faith and turn away from sin, because our Lord Jesus is coming to get His bride, the smart one who has prepared (Read Matthew 25: 1-13 - the parable of the ten virgins). Our lamps must be full of oil when He returns, so let us 'watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong, let all we do be done with love' 1 Cor. 16:13-14. Hell is a real place. All who die without Jesus Christ, their souls will go to hell and then after the GWTOJD (Great White Throne of Judgment Day) all will be judged accordingly and then they will be cast into the everlasting fire for eternity.
