Colin, you did an amazing job shooting this insightful personal documentary! All your shots and cuts are clean; great usage of dynamic music to give the piece direction and movement; for me, the best and most genius move is when he mentions how his friends helped him get through dark times--and instead of cutting away, as one might expect--you keep filming and see the transition in his face reflect the pain in his heart; the affect is we are drawn in to this space you punctuated at the center of the storyline. Brilliant. I also love the usage of the title; we assume the "vantage point" is yours the film maker's, or ours as the audience, observing Cameron, but when he uses the term it not only pops, but he flips it and reverses its meaning to reveal how he observes the rest of us neurotypcial heteronormative people. I am so proud of what you have created and the character of both Cameron and you.
