Hey guys, Steve from Chasing Epic here with a quick update. Obviously, things are very different right now versus back when this trip took place, and because of the current CoVid-19 situation all of our spring trips are rescheduled until the fall. We are currently working with our existing clients to re-book their trips to make sure everyone gets exactly what they signed up for, regardless of how much we have to adapt to make that happen. We've got dates set for our new summer and fall schedule and once things in the world stabilize enough, we'll release our revised 2020 trip calendar (hopefully in the next month). Additionally, we've got a new location and dates set for our fall trip with Alex, and that will be announced as soon as humanly possible too. We're all itching to get back on our bikes, and we can't wait to ride with everyone again soon!
It's been said already in a few different ways, but my perspective is that the sun has set on vids that are only pov trail content. There is always a story, always a way that a ride makes you feel, always a different way to make the shot, and of course there is always a day when you can come back home to the old pov content. My personal favorite though is seeing friends ride together, seeing the bond, the different ideas, and different progressions. I'm glad you have dug deeper, made the leap, and really hit the sweet spot, you are killing it. Have fun man, and thanks for taking us on the journey!
ALEX is amazing!! I am so glad he is back and posting again. Recently I have watched a ton of his videos. Alex has inspired me to get serious about Mountain Biking, I bought a Gopro a little while ago, and now I am making outdoor TH-cam videos all the time because of him!!
This isn't old content, that's just where he has gotten to in telling all his great stories from last season. And you would know that if you payed just a tiny bit of attention dude...
I Love of your style of videos man. This is so much better than just watching people ride, although I enjoy that too. This tells a story and gives you the closest experience to riding without actually riding. Keep up the great work. This video was awesome!
I have had Jake as a guide at Gooseberry Mesa. Best MTB day of my life. So far. I remember Steve saying," You will all be better mountain bikers after today" and he was right! Good times.
It's crazy how far a bad crash can set you back mentally. I'm kind of a solo rider - I don't have a lot of friends to push me through it when my confidence is shot. I'm seeing more & more why I should have some riding buddies, you guys are awesome to each other - I need that.
It seems this video last forever, so much stuff happens and there's so much value in those 16 minutes compared to your old style. Don't get me wrong, I loved the old video releasing schedule, but if it's what we get each time we listens, I'm in. Tremendous work Alex \m/
@@thomascraig3533 Exactly, it's the kind of "adventure" video that I would watch more than once compared to something like "a guy riding a bike at different places" which is basically more of the same. + the panorama is amazing!
Hit up St. George a few years ago. Did a badass Utah trip. Hit St. George. then drove hwy 12 to Green River and over to Moab. Multiple national parks, camping, hiking, biking, and offroading.
Man, I just binge watched majority of your playlists a day before. But trust me, these 18 hours of editing came out way more fun than any other videos. Great man.
This looks like the most fun ever! A huge group of riders just knocking out trail after trail with the best attitude come hell or high water! You guys are awesome
Alexander, I'm so glad you are back my man! Your videos are always a blast and you crack me up. This looks like a heck of a time, and I didn't breathe for the entire time you were showing the wreck!
I understand this took place before the covid-19 situation but its good the see you back doing what you & I love doing .... riding & editing content .... you are one of my favorites Alex 🤘
Hi Alex 😃 Just want to tell you that I really enjoy your videos especially that I am recuperating from ACL, Meniscus surgery and tibia fracture from a spill after a table top jump. Your videos inspire me to look at what is to come once I get back on the trails. Keep up with the great job. Tell Seth I enjoy his videos too and Seth and your videos are the best in all TH-cam. Live Free Ride Hard and get STOKED 🤙🏼
The Singletrack Sampler well I am 4 months after surgery and just started to ride my bike on the road and it felt great! I should be cleared to ride the trails in Late June and in August I move from FL to NC, can’t wait and hope to meet you and Seth one day. Maybe even chase after you guys down the trails since I am not as fast as you all 🤙🏼 Thanks for replying it meant a lot to see that you actually read the messages.
Stoked to see you out riding again and producing videos. Have fun at Seth's house and I can't wait to see more videos of you hitting some of the stuff out there on Berm Peak.
John displayed some good, hard won crashing skills there. He tucked his lead arm in and took a painful hit to the body instead of breaking his collarbone by landing with an extended arm.
Ryan Campbell well I’ve fallen like twenty feet onto stone on my collar bone didn’t even hurt the next day my collar bones just cannot be injured for some reason lol
Feel good moment right there. Needed that. On lock down with no electricity on top of that. My local trails are a 100m away but right now it's not rideable (Québec province so fat bike season done and not ready for MTB but even so they shut down access due to that damn covid) Thanks Alex. Glad your back.
Hahahaha this video makes wanna have my next bike sooner than expected. Awesome video as usual. LIVE FREE, RIDE HARD AND GET STOKED!! The loudest and coolest final ever
This makes me soo hyped to get out and ride! I just want this lockdown/Quarantine/coronavirus melarky to go away now so we can ride again!! Thanks for keeping the Stoke alive Alex!!!
I can relate to the confidence after getting hurt. Tomorrow is 7 weeks since fracturing my L5 spine, sacrum and my pelvis. I started riding easy stuff about 2 weeks ago.. technically not cleared to ride yet. I was told 12 weeks until I am 100% though I think I am way ahead of schedule. I have a feeling I won't be taking any risks for a while. Last place you want to be right now is back in an ER with this corona virus.
