I really like the Intercontinental Bucharest:
1. The brutalistic design
2. Every room has a balcony
3. Great breakfast including an omlette station
and 4. The pool on the topfloor!
And the staff is very friendly too!
We loved it there. We stayed at 3 different hotels on our trip there and this was our favourite.

What a beautiful hotel Mark, I've never really considered Romania as a travel destination before. However, having just watched this video I'll definitely add it to the list, great video!
Thanks Lee. I hadn’t before but was pleasantly surprised. I stayed 3 nights and on 3 different hotels to review them. They were all excellent and a lot cheaper than UK. I’m currently in the Intercontinental in London which is 4 times the price but not much different to the Romanian one.
Maybe is the moment to reconsider your ideas about Romania?... just saying...
Crina Andrei we really enjoyed it and hope to return sometime. I still have some footage of the mountains and castles we visited so will make a video of that soon.

@@AliceRo1 Most people from the UK if you mention Eastern Europe they instantly think about going to Krakow, Poland so it's nice to travel to places where not so many people (from my home country) have been to. We had no idea what to expect (as with any country we've not been to before) but found it great. We've also been to Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia and would like to try Belgrade, Serbia.
I got a job opportunity in this hotel from my country ❤ I’m excited to start working.

Mark do you just constantly travel? Never really saw your other videos other then the hair transplant ones? What are these about?
Lol, yes I do seem to travel loads. We have noisy neighbours so try and get away whenever we can. We’ve been lucky to travel to some amazing places and any spare cash we get goes towards travelling. Instead of buying each other Christmas or Birthday presents we normally just travel somewhere.
Mark Richards that’s what we try to do ... kinda putting things to a halt now with everything that’s going on.. is it mainly around Europe you guys go to or all around the world? Going to have to pay more attention to your vlogs
I originally started my channel as a flight/hotel/drone channel until the hair thing came along. We travel anywhere that we spot a deal. If I have a few days in a place I sometimes stay in a different hotel each night to review each one. We recently stayed in Bucharest and chose a different hotel each night to try out each one. I’ve flown most of the EasyJet network and mostly fly out in the morning and home in the evening to save having to spend on a hotel so have seen most European capitals. I’ve been to nearly every US state and just have a few left. I went around the world in 2 weeks before. I’m off to the Arctic Circle in a few weeks on a train from Stockholm and should hopefully be in Turkey next month. I’m happy travelling anywhere though and just on my way back from a night in a Mercure hotel that I filmed. I might do a travel vid sometime showing how to travel on a shoestring!
