Then there is the matter of the security of our critical industries, such as electronics, telecommunications, chemical and biochemical. The conservatives have failed to protect these from falling into foreign ownership. What is depressing is that there is no guarantee that a Labour government will do any better. They only seem to appreciate the value of what the UK has, until it's gone. That maybe why they are so keen to concrete over our green belt, and allow foreign water companies to poison our rivers, lakes and coast with raw sewage.
