Clerks 2 made me feel like I lived at the Mooby's. The way it was shot and how it looked makes me want to go back in time.
Same, it has such a realistic, mundane everyday life feel that I really like. Kind of reminds me of how episodes of Malcolm in the Middle were shot. Love that style.

Here is how I see it. Kevin wrote himself into Clerks twice. Dante reflects who he is (or was at that time). Randal reflects who he wanted to be. It's Randal that gets the best.lines. it's Randal that breaks the rules.
If you can see both as aspects of Kevin's personality, it makes perfect sense that Randal, not Dante would make the movie
My favorite group of people right here man these movies and these people have made my life better hands down
The care and love to make this movie in NJ and include people who care and whom they care about is why we love Kev's movies. I'd be hard pressed to find another film maker that cares so much about their own films like that.
Hah. Having now seen the movie... I love how O'Halloran looks over to Anderson when interviewer is talking to Smith saying how surprised he was that Smith wrote Randall to have the heart attack and not Dante. How these guys manage to sit through interviews and answer questions w/o spoiling and keep a straight face no less... NOW that's acting!!

I learned how to rip CDs just to have Clerks I and II on my TV any time I wanted.
Must've seen Clerks 2 25x. I re-watched it 2 weeks ago and remembered 80% of the lines by heart.
Clerks 2 didn't hit for me right away, but every time I've seen it again I've enjoyed it more. It just gets better. Jeff Anderson's delivery on lines kills me every time, so I'm excited to see him "making a movie" in this one.
Same here, now that I think about it. Didn't pay much attention the first go-round, but caught it on TV later and thought it was just great. Plus, that's when I fell in love with Rosario.
I remember sneaking in to see Clerks II the summer before my freshman year in high school, it was funny as shit and now 16 years later Clerks III. Can’t wait

I met you guys at Herbarium in Hollywood a few years back and Mewes definitely was the quiet one. It was still an awesome experience and Kevin was super kind to everyone. You guys are the best, I loved the movie and all the movies throughout the years. 🙏🏽

When the eldest 2 sons were in their late teens when Clerks 1 was first released. Omg they got me hooked on the saga. Im not 62yrs old and they are now 43 and 39 lol
I had driven past quickstop in the early morning hours when they were filming the fire scene at the store for the opening of II, and then just last year went a few times to watch filming of III. have many photos and also held Kevins sisters camera while she signed two fans poster board. was cool and laid back the filming..

Jeff Anderson is one of my favourite people and it's a gd shame we don't get more of him. I relate so much to his attitude and outlook. People are monsters and cynicism is the key to life.
I got to meet Jeff in May of this year and i was super nervous and i wasn't sure what to say to him but he was the nicest guy ever! He was so funny, chill, laid back and super friendly. He really made my enitre year lol ugh i would love to meet him again!! Super humble, kind human being!

C3 actually looks good!!........I was SO worried that it would get ruined, with so many movie legacies getting wrecked today, it seems the inevitable route, but So relieved.
Clerks 2 is one of the best buddy-comedy sequels of all time. So pumped for Clerks 3 --- especially after just hearing Kevin explain it's gonna be about their deep relationship. Let's do this.
Dude I LOVED clerks 1 and ive seen it like five times but I watched clerks 2 over and over and over. The one liners in that movie ate crazy

Love Clerks, Clerks II and Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back… they’re Askewaverse ages like fine wine or maybe cheese 😝 but it’s got heart and filters out the bullshit. Not the best synopsis but you feel it.

This is about the film though, which means Dante and Randall are the main focus (along with Kev of course). It's not a Jay and Silent Bob movie, so it makes sense.

They sat Jason behind because he's not as much in the public light / has the current notoriety that Kevin has. Which is fucked up.

This was a great film. This one will grow on people. O halloran gave a great performance. Smith brought his mortality issues to the front on this one.
This is an excellent example of how to do a trilogy proper.

I couldn't finish this one, but not because I didn't like it. It was great. Last February, the one I was planning the rest of my life with died. I don't want to spoil anything for anyone reading this who hasn't seen the film but it showed pretty much how I've felt since finding out.
Clerks 3 is so good. Didn't expect the emotional ride.
Let's be honest, they could have made a 10+ season sitcom or drama even about Clerks and the Quick-E-Mart

i think he looked rough in clerks 2, looked worse in zach and miri, looked more vibrant in jay and silent bob 2, then looked healthy again in clerks 3. hope i look somewhat decent when i'm 50.

I met Kevin Smith while he was filming outside of what used to be the giesha house on Hollywood Blvd. Grabbed a photo of him at a shop across the street and waited to get an autograph from him I felt so goofy because when he finally had a chance to come talk and sign my picture I forgot that I didn't have a pen marker etc. He signed it. Alan I fucking love you. I ran across the street told this guy Andy who had a tattoo shop at the time he then walked over with his green arrow comics right in the middle of set and started up a conversation lol. Kevin stopped working and just chatted it up with Andy when Andy came back he was like hey how about a free tattoo for telling me Kevin Smith was out there lol so I scored a win twice that day. So a big thank you from the bottom of my heart your the greatest Kevin Smith!!!!

I think that the most aggressive statement Kevin Smooth could make in movie making is to Reboot or reimagine one of his classic movies..
